I also went to West Thames and I removed the rap battles with Paradox but I wasn’t there when this incident occurred. Asim used to be an excellent battle rapper.

Thought it must be true, it would be very difficult to pull this as a lie, and I don't think they would do this to Asim.

The contestants often make the mistake of assessing the likelihood of the story rather than the likelihood of the story being made up on the spot.

Hmm, but the card only said he saw somebody disappear in a puff of smoke. The whole college rap thing was introduced by Asim after he read the card. Like, it wouldn't be that hard to construct a lie around the original statement - like, we were in a bar, this guy came claiming he just won lottery and started buying drinks for everyone, and when it was time to pay, he did his thing and then we had to pay for him as well... or whatever... I too though that it's true because Asim's story was way too complex to be completely made up. But there was still a chance that he just plucked a random story from his past and added the confrontation+disappearance to it. (i.e. the claim would have been a lie)
