Lavine and add Dwight Howard and We are so close to being true contenders. We just have to get a few more pieces that are more consistent! Consistency is all we need in LA

I see this roster plus they can't utilize potential young players or assets every teams get young players they put them in on back to back but the Lakers they put no efforts they could have got Zach Levine and nick Richards but blow it plus the center jonas valanciunas and Nikola vucevic doesn't provide defense which is terrible and Lakers don't realize they are center can give them that like last night g league game koloko has show he can defend and provide them with that but Hayes and wood has to go but who knows

Zach Lavine is not an option it would take 5 players to get to his number. An underrated option is honestly is trying to move Gabe’s contract to Detroit to get under the 1st apron. What this does is it will allow you to get buyout players that make more than the MLE. So Bruce Brown , Lonzo , Ben Simmons along with others immediately become available. You still have the ability to keep Rui while potentially picking up 1-2 of this guys off the buy out market. Then you see what Utah wants for Kessler. This is the type of creativity the FO needs

Even if he is an option, it wouldn’t work. In his one playoff appearance he shrunk in the spotlight. 41% from the field and 36% from 3. Scoring dropped from 24.4ppg in reg season to 19 a game in the playoffs. His team of course got swept because he’s not that guy.

Depending on the pieces yes. If they got lavine in the off-season and bron had taken that paycut that’d be perfect but now it won’t work. Best option is double on big man. Put AD at the 4 at least to start and certain mathups. If they can get Two of miles turner, walker kessler and Robert Williams (healthy) I think they’d be fine. They got a bunch of guys that don’t play or just not what they need. Cam reddish, shake, Jaxon, c wood, and ig JHS. Turn that them into 2 bigs and more two way players and they’d be fine. Also they gotta execute and JJ gotta start DFS or vando when he’s healthy. Starting rui ain’t it. I’m not sold on trading rui but atp as long as they do something smart o won’t be mad that long. Just get Lebron number 5.

For one we have no bench anyway…Zach brings us a sniper and someone who can score consistently…whomever we lose to get him isn’t contributing anyway…and remember with LeBron and AD that’s at least 60 to 75 pts a game…put a rotation around that we good…defensively we’ll be fine…when you can put up the numbers possible by them everyone will play defense…

If you’re talking a piece or two away from a title, it could happen. But I’ll tell you one thing, they’re a Zach Lavine away from another disappointing playoff run. If we get Vucevic and a solid point guard, we could be fine.
