Thank you Robyn and Nasia. I also have COPD and emphysema and have been on hospital twice recently with a respiratory virus. It's so good to know they won't get worse and the COPD can improve somewhat when I stop smoking! This has given me more motivation to try again. Thank you again 💓

Thanks so very much for this video. I was recently diagnosed with "Mild COPD". I have been a smoker for over 30 years. I do NOT want to use inhalers or Oxygen. The same Day that I was Diagnosed with COPD I decided to STOP smoking but this is so very hard. I tried the Gum and had a rash (itching and hives) so I have to just quit cold Turkey. So far I feel very anxious and have some headaches. At times I feel my chest is tight but I don't know if it is from anxiety. I really want to stop smoking.

Hi Carmen, thank you for your comment. When you stop smoking, you experience withdrawal. Withdrawal is the healing and adjusting process where nicotine and toxins leave your body, and it doesn't have to be a painful process! How you experience the withdrawal depends on your overall health, mindset, and nutrition, and it can actually be a good thing because it's a sign that your mind and body are healing. Nasia explains why you experience anxiety and headaches after stopping smoking in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jorIoHawisyqgKM

Hallo Nasia thank you so much for your videos. They really give me inpiration. But unfortunatly im struggeling to make the decision to stop i always think "yeah when things go bad i can always smoke again. The biggest problem is the fear. For me because of mental issues ( depresion fear attacks trauma) and my curent social situation i mostly " Need" Cigarrets to overcome the lonelyness. I use to sit on a comfortable chair in my kitchen drinking coffe and smoking for an hour. Ijust dont now how to fill this time. What do you think of making a video about the fear witout ciggarettes? Allen Carr has call it as a traumatic expirience Hope you read this. Love from Germany

@@CBQMethod How about the use of electronic cigarettes? I am 43 and started smoking at age 16...switched to an electronic cigarette at age 33. Been doing it ever since.

I have tried several times before, did great, then a stressful situation always broke me down....not this time, I will think about this quit, differently. This time, I keep saying, I am a non-smoker. :) I wrote affirmations and success tips on post-it-notes to stick on mirrors and other surfaces around my home. If the thought of smoking comes to mind, I say, NO!! If I envision smoking one, I fast-forward to the deep regret I would have, and having to starting over, and the stink....I don't want to start over again! I want to be a non-smoker more than I want to smoke. I AM a non-smoker. :D
