Thank you. This is so interesting - will be giving it a go. Do you need to sterilise the jar lids before you put them on the jars?

I pop them through the dishwasher but not in the oven as sometimes they have a plastic seal and if it’s too hot it will melt!

I enjoyed this video very much however I don’t think you ever melt sugar. I would have thought you dissolve sugar
