There is nothing worse than a husband or wife calling their partner how their children call them. It’s degrading. I’ve got a friend & they call each other mum and dad & their kids are all adults and got children of their own now it’s awful to listen to. It sounds really weird. It’s okay to say go ask daddy or mummy but for you to say something like come on mum we need to get going now we’re late. That’s super weird, use their name or an endearment like darling or sweetheart or babe or something special you call them. I would turn & say I’m not your mother or father
