On a mini 4 pro using the battery plus activates built in remote ID does it also turn on airsence ? Does the mini 4 pro have that function?

Hi Greg! How long does it usually take to get an approval after submitting the OOP waiver? I already have a DJI Air3 but since I can't wait for a parachute I am just considering to buy a Mini4Pro. But I am curios about when should I buy it. I am planning to register your course and get Part 107 this month and then submit the waiver. But if it takes to long to get an approval I don't think I need to buy a new M4P too soon. Also, when do you usually do the live Q&A? It seems like you do it on every Tuesday but what time? Thank you for all these great contents by the way! You guys are the best drone influencer on the internet!!

Part 107 license should be required for any drone purchase, just go for it and get it, the worst thing that could happen is you get smarter. Lol

@@wsugsxr600 sorry I don't get what you mean. my question is about OOP waiver approval. It's not required for a purchase but I just meant I have no reason for buying M4P earlier than the OOP approval as I already have Air3. I just wanted to know how long does the OOP approval usually take so I can plan my MP4 purchase which is for flying over people/vehicles.

Is there a time limit when you have to register your drone for instance, if you buy it, take it right out the box and fly it just because it’s new and you get in trouble
@PilotInstituteАй бұрын
You need to register before a flight.

Would anyone know if my remote ID broadcast module is required to be labeled with my (recreational) registration number?
@PilotInstituteАй бұрын
It does not.

While I do believe the hearing impaired should be allowed to fly, I would say if you can use your ears and your eyes to avoid pontoon planes, that would be helpful. Maybe avoid headphones and such.

Hey Greg, it was great talking with you this past weekend in Vegas. I just saw that you were talking about the Neo. 107.19 (e) is the reg that is being violated when flying with no controller. Steve at the FAA UAS help desk confirmed it for me. I did a video on this recently: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2iZiX2DgdN6brMsi=xwrCIFuoZMBRPz2S Cheers! Ken Bouvier
