That is actually not true. If you want to see your true self then just take a pic of you with the back cam(ask a friend) so technically the phone is like a human looking at you. The invert filter messes uo the face and is not correct.

It doesnt, i have two mirrors in my bathroom, one above the sink, and one beside it. If you angle the mirrors kinda together you can see an, un-inverted version of your selff. Also cameras warp and distort your face depending on the distance. cameras also correct the color around you, which the human eye doesn't see, thus making it another reason why cameras don't show your true self. Hello guys, heres what i think about this: the mirror is more accurate than photos. Why? Because in the mirror you see your reflection, yes but moving. A phones camera is not good enough, sometimes it captures bad photos, sometimes it distorts your face and makes you look fat, when i did the invert filter on me i noticed something was missing! My cheek! Also, something j noticed is that i took a pkc without tilting my head, but in reverse it tilted my head which is impossible ! Yes, look at the mirror, thats what you look like, if you want to see how you look like ask your family member to take a pic of you (back camera) so technically you can see your face! Invert it and you will look almost the same (it will still be weird). Almost everyone has a symmetrical face, the faces can NOT switch sides, and none of the sides are dominant. Irl when people look at you they don't see the inverted version of you, they see your reflection version. True mirrors also help to see your actual face. Just hold your neck straight without tilting it and boom. You're normal. Just take a pic of yourself with the back cam, boom and then act like the phone is a person. Boom. (Also keep in mind that the back camera may make your face ugly, or add a few pounds, mirror is still the most accurate version of you and slight asymmetries are fixable)

Because inverting causes your face to mess up! You cant add makeup onto your face with a phone for example right? What i also noticed is that the reverse filter moved your nose and eyes sideways and makes you fat and weird. Look in the mirror, thats what you look like, just reversed. Its the same. Yeah I also think mirror is more accurate, the light and shapes are authentic and undistorted, you see yourself as a whole moving in real time - it's just fliped (and if your face is asymmetrical, it is in the mirror as well). Hey guys, I just held a hand mirror to my home mirror and I can assure you, the mirror reflects quite literally the same image you are used to see ik the mirror. However, there were two funny things that occurred to me while I was doing this. 1: your face DOES look different 2: your body looks exactly the same. Now if you’re in to bodybuilding or improving your body in general, DONT WORRY. When I held the hand mirror to my home mirror, literally nothing was different. Shoulders looked the same, waist looked the same, chest looked the same, etc. I’m not into body positivity or anything, but cmon, a mirror really doesn’t show anything different then real life, except for the fact that your face does look quite different.

If you're standing directly in front of the camera, it's possible that you may appear symmetrical in the mirror. However, keep in mind that mirrors can sometimes create a flipped image, so what you see in the mirror is as good as a true reflection but there is angles a good flat mirror at full length is more useful if you want accurate results because that is you!

I just want to clarify another thing The camera preview in Snapchat or camera phone doesn't have the same distortions that can sometimes occur in the final photo. It's more like seeing yourself in a mirror, only mirror is 3 d which is how we appear anyway but with the added benefit of being able to capture the moment. And the image we capture in our phones and cameras shows image of a person as other people see them but but the quality of those images are just very much low as compared to what we saw and also different camera lenses capture different types of photos. I have no doubt that this is some thing, as far as taking selfies/reverse images, just to make us feel worse about ourselves. There is no gain in us, taking photos and feeling good about ourselves… But there is a lot to gain on the other side of things. I was looking at myself a while ago in the reverse image. I’m a 48-year-old male. I’ve always been considered, attractive”. But whatever. But now I’m getting older and so that’s why I’m here. But anyway, I was looking at myself in the camera, and it’s just not the same… I pulled on my skin, which might sound weird, but it didn’t snap back, at all! It made me look awful. mirror is light reflected back there is not a more direct way to look at yourserlf... pictures go trough a ton of processing, lenses are curved so they distort image, light is projected then on a surface on the back of the camera from that curved lens, then it get's digitised, software make lots of adjustments then projected back on a screen.. which does not have accurate colors and lots of imprefections.

@@lilpsychotichana i mean, we technically arent inverted but we are inverted but its the same. The filter makes us see our inverted self but it worsens the asymmetries. In an expensive normal mirror i grabbed a ruler and my nose was straight. In the filter it was sideways, which is physically impossible. If you really want to know what you look like, go buy an expensive normal mirror that doesnt make you fat, ugly or thin. For example: My mother for me looks a bit weird in the mirror and a bit strangle, irl shes very beautiful. Youre even hotter irl than the mirror, because mirror cant tell us what a human eye sees. Also, selfies + photos mess up people, they make the photos dull and all that. Only a professional non fattening strange camera can capture a normal photo.

Thing is it could be a good idea to forget worrying about what is more accurate and To strengthen and muscle tone daily I will do some research on how to tone muscles that was your body and all your muscles in face To the lowest muscle will be more prominent and more attractive this is a simple one for you all to try and when my camera is fixed I'll do videos so it's easier. This is to target and strengthen the buccinator muscles so you all can try facial exercises. One exercise is to puff out your cheeks and hold for a few seconds, then release. Repeat this several times a day to help tone and strengthen those muscles. Remember to stay consistent and be patient for results! Not to mention one glass or cup of water a day is very key in maintaining this let me know if you notice any definition after the exersises after a few weeks or so
