Whenever someone tells me, "well, heaven doesn't sound like a place I would enjoy," I just have to remind them that God made this universe we live in, and we enjoy living in it. Food, relationships, music, dancing - there's a lot to enjoy here. The point being, God knows how to take care of us and make us happy. So, when God promises us eternal paradise, with no suffering, no sickness, no death - then we can be sure it's a lot better than what we're living with right now, and that God isn't going to all of sudden forget how to make us happy. In fact, the Bible says our joy in heaven will multiplied forever. They might say heaven is designed for glorifying God and worshipping Him, and that doesn't sound very exciting. The focus of heaven is God, that is true, but the same goes for the universe we're living in now, and we still enjoy that. The difference is that in heaven God will be sharing His glory with us as the glorified children of God. We can have a small taste of that right here and now by receiving God's glory in the Lord Jesus Christ. Don't let people fool you into thinking they don't enjoy the gifts God gives them. All they're really doing is making a false image of a petty god so that they can exalt their human desires over it. Get your idea of God right, and you will see that heaven is a wonderful paradise beyond our wildest imaginations.

@@InitialPC, spiritual things are repulsive to the carnal minded. It is impossible to love the world and love God, for the world has rejected God, and so to love God one must reject the world. The world loves darkness and hates the light, because the light exposes what is done in the darkness. We are flesh, and can only live according to the flesh, but God is spirit; and He took flesh upon Himself so that we might behold the truth which is born of the spirit. In Christ our eyes are opened to spiritual and eternal truths, white-hot treasures that purify corruption and bind the flesh. We are blind, but in Christ we see. Your dream, any of our dreams, they pale in comparison to the eternal gifts we have received in Jesus Christ. God is the bridegroom, and the Chosen are His bride. Sex and marriage are just shadows, temporary illustrations, passing away along with everything else in this world. To live for that which is fading is to set your hope upon death, and it is a rejection of the true eternal reality in which we receive our being and find meaning.
@krazo4Christ3 жыл бұрын
@Kevin Wilmore, there is no doubt a spiritual component to many NDE accounts. In that sense, they are good to use as evidence for supporting spiritual existence. Beyond that, I do not find them trustworthy for studying the nature of spiritual reality. Isaiah 8:19 "And when they say to you, Inquire of the mediums and the necromancers who chirp and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Should they inquire of the dead on behalf of the living?" There are many lying and deceitful spirits in the world, but God provides us with true spiritual knowledge.

They fall to their knees overwhelmed. (“Every knee will bow”) They witness angels praising God and say it seems like they would “explode” if they didn’t worship Him! They say they realize no one has ever loved them as much as Jesus does! They feel so connected to this unimaginable LOVE that they want to join in and sing as well!!! Being human, we accidentally downgrade our idea of Gods love to fit our human interpretation. As a baby Christian i asked God in child like innocence, truth, and reverence "God why do we worship you isnt that kind of self absorbed?" Again in total truth and innocent. And over that next couple days God showed up in my life, revealing Himself in the most personal, intimate, and loving experiences. This then answered my question as it provoked Worship in me and I realized worship is a form of intimacy with total surrender and Trust that fully allows us to immerse our being in God and we have that gift through Christ. The question the guy had about praising God all the time in heaven and "that's not free will", is one of the hard questions that thankfully i was able to honestly ask God Himself in my time with him(thanks to the gift of salvation) because they are logical question to our prideful flesh. However once we are in eternity every bit of praise comes from an encounter with the goodness and love of God that is beyond anything we could think or imagine and as we praise we go deeper into God's love and his being because he is love and how many people on this planet all they want is to be loved I don't mind spending eternity being loved I'm loving others with that same love with that same love that I am being given

The problem with people saying heaven will be boring is that they automatically assume that they will be transported there "as they are". We need to remind ourselves that these bodies are just shackles, and everything we think, see, feel, and sense as reality are only but trickles of water in an ocean of divine reality that is The Trinity and Heaven. Every aspect of your mind and body will be transformed into something unfathomable to mortal science. You will see, hear, taste, touch, and feel things the most "perfect" mortal specimen can never ever even begin to sense. You will encounter things so bizarrely beautiful and divine. You will experience TIME and SPACE differently, or even higher dimensions of these two. We should not put God or even Heaven within the tiny confines of our own imagination. Ecclesiastes 1:4 - Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever. bro you really need to study.. you are PROBABLY talking about the "new heavens and the new earth" scripture... that doesnt mean physically destroying them... it means there is a NEW rulership taking place. God is going to wipe out all earthly governments on earth, and replace them with a heavenly government, new earth. God is for the first time in history adding 144,000 humans to co-rule in heaven with jesus... New heavens. it does not say god is going to destroy the earth, what the hell would be the point of destroying the earth??? God doesnt destroy planets, he destroys socieities. @@Ray-uy4ez

1, HELL is not a location. the word HELL is translated from Greek and Hebrew Sheol and hades, which literally means Pit or grave or the place where you put dead bodies.
@indiegamesonly66179 ай бұрын
2, The LAKE OF FIRE is SYMBOLIC for gods final judgement. thats why rev 20:14 clearly states " King James Bible And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." IF they were the same thing how could it be thrown into itself... you need to use MORE THAN ONE TRANSLATION of a bible and stop listening to people who are clueless about the scriptures. Here are more translations. New International Version Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Aramaic Bible in Plain English And Death and Sheol were cast into The Lake of Fire- this which is the second death. New Living Translation Then death and THE GRAVE were thrown into the lake of fire. This lake of fire is the second death. IF Hell is the grave.. and the lake of fire is SYMBOLIC for something being removed from existance...then what is rev 20:14 saying? God promises "death will be no more, the former things have passed away" ALL the scripture is saying is if there is no more death, then there will be no more need for graves.

6:00 suffering is an illusion: the idea that suffering is an illusion is often misunderstood. buddhism doesnt deny suffering being real; rather, it teaches that suffering is a fundamental aspect of human existence and it also offers a way to understand and transcend it (heaven) 7:10 in Buddhism, the concept of letting go of desires doesnt mean abandoning all desires, rather, it suggests cultivating a mindful awareness of desires and understanding their nature. Helping others, is seen as a noble and compassionate act in Buddhism. The key lies in understanding the difference between skillful desires (positives) and unskillful desires (negatives). Wanting to help someone can be seen as a skillful desire because it arises from compassion and a genuine wish for the goodness of others.

I think the prospect of getting to interact with beings that are of higher order than us, getting to actually chat with historical figures, makes heaven very desirable....just think of the prospect that you could get to talk about what life was like before you were created and let's not even start with the fact that the spiritual dimension is an abstract dimension so we don't know what this dimension entails.....we don't know the things that are possible within this dimension and then there's the prospect of getting to live where the one that created you lives.Just think about that for a second.

One day I'd love to personally have a deep conversation with you Cliffe. It touches me just how willing you are to go out and preach what you teach. I've been a believer in Jesus for many years. Since I was a child. There is no way he didn't rise from the dead in my understanding of life. It's crystal clear to me. And those who feel the need to ask how you can believe in that, are still struggling with the idea that one man has all there is to offer to enter a place that is completely unbelievable because we don't have a perfect understanding of what perfect love really is. I do hope one day to enter heaven and live with God and Jesus forever. In the beginning the in fact created it all. Must be exciting to live with beings who care so much for us, imperfect as we are in this state, then to get a flawless body? and enjoy his presence for eternity and enjoy eternity with him and keep going in a life without suffering and pure bliss? I tell you, sir. The closest I've ever felt toward that was.... Vacation =(. It's not enough. I tell him every day that I can't wait for the pain to be over, for the madness that people mock Christ, and his followers, and that we are stupid and ignorant for believing a man in the clouds who happens to be watching our every move. I have so much to say about the ignorance of society, and I think God has given me a greater understanding of the light. I've helped enough people trying to be like Christ, and sometimes it is actually met with confusion especially if the environment is not so sweet. Even if I can show the world the bit of kindness they deserve I will, all in the name of Jesus. I think everyone needs to hear the words from the prince of Peace. God bless you Cliffe. I hope you get more to follow the king of Kings and Lord of Lords.

I wounder if the planets were made for us to discover, but because of our sinful nature, death has made it impossible. It would never be possible in this life but in eternity i believe we could go anywhere. Imagine being able to explore the ocean without the fear of drowning or being eaten. Trust me the lord knows what hes doing! Eternity may seem like a long time to us, but remember 1 year is as a day to the lord. We simply dont understand eternity to make judgments now. Look at the colors spectrum and the limit of colors we can see. Imagine being able to see the hole spectrum in all its glory. I love to imagine all the ability we'll have! Jesus flew, walked through a walls, and even ate. I believe we'll be able to do the same thing in our glorified bodies. I like to think of all types of advance technology that might exist in heavens and the new earth. Imagine yourself ruling over entire cities designed to your liking. I love to imagine eternity as a creative mode to the survival mode where in right now. I trust that eternity will be full of things to do. I believe as eternity goes on, god will continue to show us more of his glory. Making worship more than fun! Trust me you wont force your self to worship God, you'll want to! It's going to be worth it! Look into a mirror and stare at your self. Get real close and focused on your features like teeth, nostrils, cheeks, etc. As you do that imagine your self in your glorified body that has no imperfections. One day you'll stair at your reflection in heavens and realizes how real it actually is. The feeling of finally being there will fill you with so much joy! Knowing that it's all over, and that a new life has begun! Brothers and sister I cant wait to see you all there! It's going to be a glorious day! May the Lord exalted!

Here is something that I’ve yet to hear Cliffe say, even though he kind of alludes to it here when he answers the student, who is wearing the cap on backwards, that he doesn’t have an ‘airtight’ answer. IF I were the student, my next question would have been, WHY do you NOT have an ‘AIRTIGHT’ answer? Now, I would hope that Cliffe would have answered that question this way, because people seeking Christ need to know this. Cliffe: “The reason WHY I don’t have an ‘airtight’ answer is this; I have a finite mind, God has an infinite mind. Because my mind is finite, I am limited in what I can understand. God is not. My best example of this is what I call the ‘Dog Example’. I have a Beagle who is very a very smart 6 year old dog. However, his mind and understanding pales in comparison to mine. Before I take him to the veterinarian, I could sit him in front of me and explain to him ad nauseum, that the reason I am taking him to the veterinarian to get his vaccinations is so he doesn’t get sick from something later on. His mind isn’t capable of understanding that. All he is capable of understanding is that I am taking him a place that someone is going to hurt him. In that example, the dog is like a human and I am like God. BOTTOM LINE: We aren’t going to understand the reasons God does EVERYTHING He does!!

Who are you talking about?

@@cameroneagle4370 The guy talking at people while acting like he is a football coach. I can't tell if he thinks his points are exciting or if he wants to tackle who he is talking at.

Same here. I've asked several times why he does that. No answer. Maybe he doesn't think we'll continue watching a long video. I would

Very interesting dialog, he does a very good job explaining and defending his faith. The importance should always remain about the message of God's love and forgiveness not the messenger.

I saw a video of someone who went to heaven and died, and they said they didn't even want to come back to earth, because it was that amazing. He saw Jesus and begged not to come back.

11:43 Question: The Christian afterlife is not free will if we lose the ability to sin/ we continually worship God. If yes, why did God not create us like that in the first place, to save us from the suffering on earth. My interpretation of this question is: On earth you can either choose God or reject him and live on your own path. When christians choose God we strive to be better/ try to reflect our actions as Jesus Christ did. God can’t be in the presence of sin there will be no sin in heaven. However, this is what the children of god has chosen, It is their consequence(positive) to choosing him. We become the glorified human. We have said “Yes, God, we have seen what you stand for, what you have done for us, and your wisdom, and we would like to surrender to you and live in that glorified goodness that you are.” So really it is our choice to not live in sin anymore. Now why didn’t God just do this in the first place? Nobody wants a robot to mindlessly love them so we have the choice to choose him. Which is why we are created with free will. The difference is we have had the time to choose God instead of being originally created to do no sin. So the people who do not choose God get what they choose, which is a place where there is nothing of God. You can’t have a relationship with someone and only choose certain parts, you have to fully commit which is what the christian faith is. Hopefully that makes sense to his question. Its a big answer so hopefully i got everything❤
