I love my set, after I placed the order everyone perhaps has a sneaky voice in the back of mind that ponders regret. After my first round I hit the top of the pin on a 10 Iron coming in 85 yards. Love them dearly. Golf has never been better.

Best reviews on KZbin, hands down. No one else is even close in doing as good of a job! 💯💯💯💯💯

Probablly the purest swings that i can relate to on the net. Wide stance, reaching out, head remains fixed throughout the swing. Simply minimal effort to get great results..This is the swing to copy folks...Great vid, just got a set of the 24 Apex CB after getting rid of my apex pro 21 with the MMT shafts 95 s shafts which were too soft...Love these vids from AskGolfNut..Well Done !

Hi Nick thanks for the kind feedback, always nice to hear positive comments, my arms look like they are reaching out but in fact they hang directly under my shoulders, with woods it does tend to stretch out a touch, but it's my posture and the amount of clearance I have for hip movement that gives the impression of reaching 👍🏻👍🏻

Thank Jay. Your forgiveness reviews are the best on the internet. Full of data to wet our appetite. I would love to play cb irons but probably don’t swing fast enough to get the best out of them. I prefer the feel from soft irons and like the idea of more spin from these irons but distance would suffer. Currently playing p790 2021 model but feel a change coming on. Decent ball striker but slow swing speed. Do you think I should try them or am I wasting my time.

Hi William thanks very much for the kind feedback. How fast is your swing speed with the irons? 👍🏻
@williamcampbell8985 Жыл бұрын
Hi Jay. Not sure about swing speed as top tracer range only gives ball speed. 7 iron ball speed is 105 on a good shot. 67 year old so unlikely to get any faster. Considering a rypstick though so you never know.😊

I’m mid 70’s with a 7 iron and am prone to a low miss. Tried these yesterday and loved them. Have played this style or a blade my whole life and have a certain comfort level. I’m not overly fast but hit the middle a majority of the time. Thoughts on pursuing these? They stood out versus P770 and T150. Just seemed more functional. Great reviews young man!

Thank you very much and it's been a while since I've been called young man 😊 I'd say that its a solid choice if your miss is slightly low on the face. They feel every bit as good as the Blade with a touch more help where help is needed. Let me know how you get on 👍🏻

Great review. Great honesty & integrity. 👏👏 I wonder how this will compare with the new Mizuno pro 243 and 245s. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Definitely! Trying to find out as I type what the time frame for the samples coming.... Its been a long time coming since the launch in Asia. When they arrive I'll do some pre launch content on the live streams 👍🏻

I’m now tempted to build my own blended set with my old traditional lofted Cleveland CG4 and current gamer strong lofted. Taylor made speed blades. I really don’t buy that irons have gotten really that good..

All the last generation Apex and Apex Pro where good on thin shots.

I found the Apex Pro 21 the same way - amazing on thin shots but not kind to toe strikes. Probably something to do with the 90 grams of Tungsten

Do they feel soft or kind of "techy forged" like a t100?

out of the 3 which is the most forgiving PRO / CB / MB ? thx Jay...great review ...cheers
@AskGolfNut Жыл бұрын
All 3 help in different ways especially the difference between the Pro and the CB, the MB is more blade like it is playing and forgiveness though 👍🏻

Thanks for all the great work you do! Feel and sound aside, I personally find the Apex Pro 21 similar in that it was terrific on thin shots, not so kind on toe strikes. Very different club than the Pro 24 - not worse or better, just plays a good bit different for me. Do you think the standard Apex 24 model will blend with any of the other Apex 24 stuff when it is released?
@AskGolfNut Жыл бұрын
Possibly, I guess it all depends on how Callaway set it loft wise and if they are prepared to try and blend it against say the Pro. A standard Apex 24 set at 32 for a 7 iron would put it within a degree of the Pro and totally open up the range! Although with the launch monitor wars that fitters wage on the golfing public, unfortunately sales via distance is still the number one fitting tactic which is wrong in my personal belief. I somehow think the new Apex will be 30 degrees or stronger for a 7 iron.... But we'll have to wait and see 👍🏻👍🏻

If the shaping and styling are in-line with other Apex 24 irons maybe the loft could be weakened a couple degrees....?@@AskGolfNut

So. Does a 7 iron swing speed of 81mph work with 4 degree gaps and traditional lofts?
@AskGolfNut Жыл бұрын
I would say so yes but gapping may be about 9 yards or so depending on delivery 👍🏻

Your thoughts about those irons vs Ping i230? The spin rate seems quite low compared to to Ping.. the club or the player?😜

Hi there, are you comparing the video I did on the i230 against this recent video? 👍🏻
