new/old fan; first comment. like ever. so I remember enjoying podcast beyond and I began wondering what those lovable goofballs, Collin and Greg, were up to nowadays. long story short, kinda funny is Bombay; Nick, Tim, and Kevin are instant classics; and I get to explore a fantastic catalog of content. but I digress. this logician's question needs answering. first off; I actually had to pause the video, sit on my toilet, and think for probably 20 min. lets unpack this. lma break out some grammar: a "statement" is a specific type of sentence. therefore it requires a subject and a predicate. ie.|the world | (subject) | is flat | (predicate). the noun, "statement," is the subject of the following statement: " | this statement | (subject) | is false | (predicate)" I would like to rename this noun according to its definition: "subject+predicate" what we're witnessing here is inception. it's a statement about a statement (or "subject+predicate"), and we are forced to label it "true" or "false". now if "subject+predicate" was defined, than the answer would be simple. ie. the statement, "the world is flat," is false. we can easily label this statement as "true." I propose that the answer "true" or the answer "false" is dependant on the legitimacy of "subject+predicate" - which, in this philosophy brain teaser, is undefined. the answer is both potentially "true" or potentially "false." therefore my simple and anticlimactic answer is: "it depends"

I went to SFSU too and that was my experience Tim! Paid all this money for some huge library to be built. The year after I leave, it opens. I would tell my friends that still went there that I wanted to visit the campus just to see the library. Still haven't bothered going back however.

It's crazy this time capsule exists. Look at these guys now, got kids, pro comedians, WWE talent, married, big studio, and still the same genuine guys. Superman trailer dropping tomorrow, Greg still unhinged 😂.

I don't want to see a digital only age... I like keeping my game discs and cartridges, and also collecting anime and other TV shows on bluray. I seriously don't watch any TV, though. I've got Netflix and Crunchyroll... The only thing I actually watch on TV is live sports. But then I can just get the NBA League Pass when the season starts and be good. Anime and hit shows like Game of Thrones is something that I always want to collect physical copies of, though

BOOM! Got an idea for a short, kinda funny, video that came to me during the last 15 minutes of this show. The part when Tim is talking about tag with friends when he was younger, and Nick says lets round 'em up and play tag. Well, now stay with me here... invite any and all willing participants from the world of gaming and youtube/podcast awesomeness, to meet up with you at a park, and split into two teams, and play THE most vicious, all adult version of Red Rover that the internet has ever seen! All out force! Whatever it takes to overwhelm the enemy's defenses! It could just be a "highlight" reel, giving an overview of who appears to be winning, with the highlights in order of when they happened so it's "kinda like watching some people play Red Rover" but without the possible not so kinda funny parts. And in case I wasn't clear before, I mean vicious like Greg smashing through Tim and Nick like Tim would smash through Disney princesses if he got the chance. Uh..... but without the sex.... that's not what I mean by "all adult version" but DO IT! Start calling everyone you've ever had on your show, interviewed on IGN, met in a liquor store, I wanna see some Two Towers type Red Rover battle! I'm serious. >=[ Now to make a hashtag to nowhere (isn't that every hashtag? or am I missing how they work =P) with a silly phrase for people to CAPS SCREAM at the Kinda Funny guys until they break down and give into peer pressure =] #GiveMeRedRoverOrGiveMePortillo

Having taken a few logic classes in college i would go with this answer for the Tim's topic. The truth and falsity of the statement would be represented by one variable, If you take the statement "this statement is true" and represented it by T, then the statement "this statement is false" would be represented by ~T, "this statement is not true". I would say the statement is false because it is not true ~T.

"This statement is false", is true because it is saying that the statement isn't real, which it isn't. The inverse of it, "this statement is true", is false because the statement doesn't mean anything and therefore cannot be true
