Don't know if you will ever see this, Colin, but I felt the feels during that topic. I have Crohn's Disease and I was diagnosed at 13. Now I'm 26. I don't know what shape I would be in if my parents didn't take me in when it started happening. And I also got that kind of talk too. "You're so young this would be so strange." I don't know. This is serious stuff and everyone should just try to find answers as best they can.

Colin must have had a totally different experience than me. I'm young as well and I just had a Colonoscopy over the summer, I can assure anyone who is nervous about getting one that it is not painful what-so-ever. You do not go under but you're drugged up enough to where you really can't feel anything and you might even forget that it happened(my Dr told me a lot of people forget that they've had it done). The prep for it is the worst part and imo it wasn't that bad, you're on the toilet a lot and you are hungry but that really isn't that bad.

I had an Endoscopy a few years ago in my early 30s. They put me completely under. It wasn't painful but it does feel embarrassing knowing people in the room are shoving something up your ass.

To be fair, after the first 2+ minutes I tried to ignore Melissa because for someone who won "Best Portrayal of a Human Female," she sounded more bored than a walker until about 2-3/4ths the way through when she was at her best. Sometimes just takes a warming up during the discussion to get rolling, so hey.
