Start now and start doing. Go for what You want. For me it always was and it always IS about doing what I feel passionate about in life (maybe not a business like most people describe) because I make music and I do everything myself from: producing a track in my home studio I built myself from scratch, mixing, mastering, writing lyrics, engineering a track, recording myself sing/rap etc so - but here's the thing with doing music - You need people/fans to actually like Your stuff so You could gain more fans and promotion is the hardest thing for me so far. By doing music I feel fulfilled and I feel like I'm not wasting my life :) without fulfillment Im 100% sure I would feel like I was wasting my life - sadly most people do not understand why Im doing what Im doing and I dont blame them. God doesn;t gave them My vision and that's ok I guess : ) Thanks for motivating me everyday Man!

Put the books down and go do it. It’s so easy to get stuck in books thinking you’re missing knowledge or skills or whatever. Great advice to jump in and swim. Best way to learn.

My fav is ‘if you don’t feel nervousness and if you don’t feel butterflies in your stomach, then you’re not trying hard enough!’. I’m going to stop over thinking it and just send those emails to buyers, pick up the phones to hotels and make a start to reach out to businesses. Scary and so out of my comfort zone but has got to be done! Persistence and resilience are the two words for me. You instil confidence in me through your videos and hearing everyone on here really inspires me Simon, thank you!

The best advice in there is make your mum proud, I would rather fail in business but be a good human being with morals than be successful in business and lose who I am as a person. I am not saying be soft but be a human first business owner second.

Hey I just discovered you through a reel where a 13 year old wanted to propose his clothing business idea to you ❤ It's interesting that your information is not to read about business in a book and to do it and that you encourage us to start a business (multiple even!). I'm curious what you think of the "1 thing". Is it better to focus all your attention on just 1 business for efficiency or if a person has so many ideas would you encourage them to get started on them all at once and see what takes off?

Simon, I know this video is at least a year old at this point so these comment sections may or may not be monitored; but wondering, what if your consumer isn't in the B2C market but its a B2B or even in the B2G space? One small business I owed was easy because the consumers were individuals that could be sought out, now I feel i'm attempting to breach a castle wall to find decision makers or get my idea introduced to businesses that could benefit from my idea/product? -Jarod
