Hey, I just wanted to reach out to you and let you know that my husband and I think you two are badasses! You are really the only sailing family that we can think of who has a YT show that has circumnavigated, expanded their family, not had crew or a chef or a nanny to help them along the way. Who have experienced significant set backs with your bulkheads and other issues and yet you continue to move forward. We find you inspiring. We are a family of four who have recently sold everything and moved aboard a catamaran. Our kids are much older (10 and 13) so I cant imagine how hard it must be with little ones. We have started a YT channel to share our adventure with all those we left at home so I know that is also a ton of work. Anyhow I could go on for awhile about how impressed we are with you and since I was thinking about this and all that you have accomplished I thought I would just let you know how much I admire your strength, grit and ability to always move forward while being great parents raising kids in a unique, challenging and often stressful situation. Well done!

Thank you so much. A lot of it is self inflicted hardship (no crew. no nanny)! You have no idea how comments like this make our day. It is super hard out here at times. But we often just take it one day at a time. One hour at a time. Sailing in storms can be 10 minutes at a time dealing with the boat and feeding the kids. Is it all worth it? We think so! The epic rewards outweigh all the hardships.

😂😅😂😅😅😂 It's funny to see Ben going up hill and Ashley is like, "It's a pretty big hill dude" and Ben just stays quiet and stairs dead on at the ground. But man pushing that baby stroller up hill has got to be quite the workout. Well done Ben & Ashely. It was fun to see Willa pushing the baby stroller. So cute. It's quite the legacy these kids have with you Ben h Ashley. Just beautiful.

I have been following you guys for 3 years now, and this is by far the best video for me. This is also my first-ever comment because I had to thank you for showing me the real beauty of life outside the city jungle. You guys inspired me so much in this video, the magnificent view of Fatu Hiva, its beautiful people, everything about it. I also love how happy you all are in everything that you do. Thank you very much!

27:20 ~ I love you family tooo. I’ve been with you since before Covid. I wanted to thank you for making my life better. My husband died unexpectedly in October of 2020. We got married when I was 23 and I felt my life was done. Almost for years later, I’m okay and still have our ginormous doggo. Thank you. 🩷💙
Your dear children are hiking champs. Love being a part of your journey. The hike was beautiful and daunting. What an amazing way to live and learn for the kids. You take in and relish the culture of your surroundings everywhere - and, of course, the wonderful people. Stay safe and well. ❤

BEAUTIFUL video in every way. Each week we think that you cannot do any better. My wife and I sail the S Pacific with an 8 year old in the late 1970s. There were less boats, and no GPS, but the islands and the Polynesians seem as perfect as they were then. The people of the South Pacific are the finest on the earth. Now we are in our 80's you bring back some special memories. Thank you so much.
