I like how people are handling this situation from different perspectives. Someone asked the ‘bad person’ to apologize, someone tried to shot a video of him as a threat, and someone bought food for the old person because they may not be able/willing to confront the ‘bad person’ personally.

@@pieceofpeace2553 When someone makes those videos in the correct way, they always ask for permission, that's why you sometimes see their faces blurred, in some cases, because the person asked to just no show their faces. Have to say, I usually feel uncomfortable when I receive help, like the times when I didn't have money to return home and then, some acquaintance gifted me what I needed, I still was very grateful for it.

You're very lucky to have these kind people surrounding you! ☺ The issue in the video though shines light to a wider social problem where people are exploiting those in need for views/money without considering anything from their perspective - there was actually a reality show in china that had something similar happen, yet people didn't realise the harm they were doing (made them feel embarrassed and incapable).

We should help others because it comes from the heart, not because we want to show off to others about how generous we can be. May I ask though, what do people say/do when they find out it was a social experiment? Do some get upset and ask for money back if they bought something? I'm sure the majority are ok even if it was not real. Do y'all ever feel like after all these videos shot people might catch on more quickly and think anyone they see struggling is just acting? Has anyone ever let y'all know how the video they were in or they saw changed them or helped them out? So many questions but I don't want to make this post to long.
