If you shop at Whole Foods, let me know in the comments why you shop there and what the best things to buy are! Hope you enjoy this Asking Strangers series - and yes I almost didn't film this video because we kept getting rejected over and over again, until we went inside the store :) Get outside of your comfort zone!! -Charlie

What Mariela touched on about credit cards is one of those small financial habits that can really help build you towards your financial goals and allow you to travel in ways you never thought possible. I'm super passionate about the credit card game and profiting from them, but it all comes with the caveat, as you mentioned, that you have to use credit cards responsibly. I always tell people to use a credit card like a debit card and pay it off on-time and in-full every month, and you can find a lot of value in using them. Great video all around Charlie!

Thank you Charlie for the video. I think that most of us struggle in believing in ourselves and if just win that fear that stops us from being bold and trying out what we really like doing, we could be much happier and proud of our achievements. And of course, taking care of our body and health is very important, we should all start cooking fresh instead of ordering pre-cooked food or eating fast food! Stay healthy and strong everyone!

I don’t think whole food is “whole pay check” anymore. Since AMAZON took over the business. There’re sales stuff every week with Amazon prime as well. I usually get when things I like to eat on a regular basis on sales because they’re cheaper than other grocery stores sometimes. You just have to pay attention to the price. I live in San Francisco by the way!
@CharlieChang

Yeah Whole Foods is definitely cheaper than before Amazon bought them - but they still have a lot of premium items that are super expensive!!

It doesn’t cost that much more to shop at Whole Foods than it does at a lot of other grocery stores if you have a Prime membership, you mainly by stuff that’s on sale and you have the Chase Amazon Prime visa. It’s not as cheap as bargain stores like Walmart and Lidl, especially for things like frozen veggies and basic staples like cheese, but I get high quality meat and fresh veggies at a decent price with my strategy of focusing on items that are on sale. I get pasture raised eggs at Whole Foods for less than most other grocery stores. They’re pretty much the same price as the regular eggs at Walmart.

If you shop at multiple grocery stores and have access to varying brands/off brands, with competitive prices, you can be surprised at how much you can get for less money. Also, although there are expensive things at Whole Foods, they have many brands to choose from... just choose the less expensive brands. Or, if you know they have the same brands at another store, you can pick and choose what you're buying at Whole Foods, and get the other items elsewhere.

I used to work as a shopper before Amazon took over Wholefoods. I received paychecks directly from Amazon, and they did give me extra money sometimes. I would say it was a nice experience, and paychecks did not look bad at all. I don't know how it is right now, but I kinda regret quitting it. It offered great flexible schedule for a student like me

Also, the one shopper said that she goes to Whole Foods when she wants to treat herself but she usually shops at Sprouts. I don’t understand this because Sprouts where I live is pricier than Whole Foods. I like both stores and there are specialty items that I can get both places that I can’t get anywhere else, but I almost always make out a little better at Whole Foods than I do at Sprouts in terms of the price.

Well I shop at whole foods. Idk why people think whole foods has healthy things. It sure does but 50% of the items u can find at other stores and some items aren't even healthy. For example vital farms pasture raised eggs. Whole foods charges $9 for them while Walmart charges $5.72. So why would I buy the same quality eggs and Pay for at whole foods than simply buying at Walmart. Hope yall get the point that whole foods just increases the price

Of course they need good jobs to shop there. Maybe they might have coupons I doubt most do. Whole foods might as well go to a farmers market or buy online organic food that's actually cheaper. Might be desperate but maybe dumpster food they offer they will give to poor homeless people before they toss out fresh food
