Wow, such an awesome video! I wanted to pause it and comment over and over again to relate my experiences in Japan. Loved the tight edits! Loved that there are so many people back to interview! Hakuba was even mentioned ❤🏂

On my previous trip to Japan I'm sure I also found a weed establishment.... but was too scared to go in. I think they also had a vending machine!!

Another interesting and funny video and thanks for that. I did enjoy it as the topic of this is quite rare imho. BTW I did not know that you'd been back to Japan by now, Cathy Cat san and am glad to know that.

I knew someone who visited New York in the early 90's and naively stayed in a YMCA... apparently he spent the entire time being pursued by a guy in tight silver short shorts.

I got a Japan story. It was Golden Week and my new friend and I were riding the Osaka Loop after visiting the Castle Park and noticed a lot of people were getting off at Kyobashi, we got curious and decided to check it out. Turns out it was just a place where people lived and not much of it. Pretty ghetto. We’re minding our business and talking when we passed by this open garage. There was a guy standing in front of the car mirror with his pants down to his thighs, jacking off. I certainly saw it but I hoped that my friend didn’t (but she did). We both went quiet and walked straight away. We burst into laughter once we cleared the area. This was 10 years ago but it remains so clear in my memories.

Many people transfer to other lines at Kyobashi station. The area you accidentally found yourself in is mostly likely a "Buraku" and ethnic Korean ghetto. Locals will know precisely which exit of which train station not to visit.

A great episode. I didn't know maryjane was allowed, now that could be an interesting place to investigate.
