Asksey Level Crossing

Monday August 5 2024 at 15.47. The 13.00 Edinburgh to London (17.38) train. Came here in June 2014 and filmed this: • Arksey Level Crossing when trains arrived at exactly the same moment. The barriers then were lowered far too early possibly because the operator was confused by the trains coming both ways and a red tape remover had been busy. Since then the street lights have been moved and a replacement barrier has been fitted the wrong way round with the cut end in the middle. Worrying that simple mistakes are made. Recently this crossing has been filmed a lot for no obvious reason.
