Hiya at 31:25 you are doing a board edge creep with the 8-0 stack but you forgot the residuals (1RFP) they would have had to run through when you did those 2 (-2) shots over at that edge earlier from the final firing 548s. I love this scenario using tire inner tubes as slingshots for hand grenades because they didn't have BARs, I guess? But the Americans have a long way to go over open ground or slog it through hedgerows to make it up the hill. Still, ROAR is more balanced than I would have thought it to be!

Completely forgot about the slingshot grenades.

I believe that your German mortars, not being SW light mortars, need to set their CA and pay to hit penalties if they change CA. I realized it malfunctioned with the first shot, but FYI. Thanks for posting the videos. Also, I believe your dm mortar went from IN the 84C4 gully up to the hill 84N3 (about 23:45 in the video) which is two elevation changes (from IN the gully to up the hill). With a 5 PP dm MTR you would only have 2 MF. I believe that move would be an abrupt elevation change (B10.5) and I believe the advance would invoke difficult terrain (A4.72). So I don't think they could make that move (unless a leader could help them).

move vs difficult terrain = CX + pin. advance vs difficult terrain = CX. They could do it either way, but that's as far as they could go.

Correct on both counts. Definitely should have CXd the crew at a minimum

Rough turn 3 for the Germans -- they had the game sewed-up until that bazooka shot.

I forgot that trees don't count as a hard target for shrecks/bazooka, so those shots never should have happened. But I think I had good control over some of the approaches until then.

15:30 L2 is out of LOS M5 is 10 hexes from the Spotter, creating 2 blind hexes 20:00 If next to Bocage, you'll get ?ment 41:00 units at Level 1 top board can see all the wire. 42:00 Interdicted up the hill by the 548 that broke him among others 46:00 DFF on the Smoke MF expenditure. 4fp -1 1:00:00 ...AAaaaaaaaaannnnd that's why snipers make ASL weak af. They shouldn't be that disastrous...sorry. An entire scenario after 8 hours of play can be ruined by a random singular event....let's use the term "DICEY" shall we? Donde esta el fumar?

Thank you Stew. 1. I count 8/9 hexes from 84M2 to 55M6/M5, so there should be two blind hexes, M5 and M4, right? 2. Good call on the concealment beside bocage. Missed B9.55. 3. I read as far as concealed fortification once their benefit is used, and missed the part where they become known when in LOS and 16 hexes. 4. Your are correct, the 548 could have interdicted them up the rear as they crest 55C8 5. Correct, I could have DFF that smoke grenade attempt 6. My die rolling makes it weak af, lol 1:00:24 Also I had forgotten repeatedly that BAZ and trees don't work, need a building or wall, so those Germans would have never broken. I did notice at 29:41 that I pinned a squad that should have broken and then moved him anyways, and then 2 min later forgot the residual that should have been in A10. Agree with the ruined event. Thanks for the errors Stew, hopefully they'll be retained for next time.
