No one else can learn the ancient magic. If the "forbidden magic" could only be used by 2 people and they were both good guys, it wouldn't be forbidden magic. It'd just be magic no one can figure out.

this game is missing two crucial parts. #1. An infamy system. #2. Friendly Fire to NPC. I can even ignore the fact that you cant do online multiplayer. Give me those 2 and I'd even pay $500 for the game. If I can rack up enough points in the Dark Magician side, I should eventually be taken to azkaban and slowly change my path and join the dark wizards in the end to attack hogwarts. Imagine being able to destroy hogsmead and other villages like it.

You would think that using spells that will mind control a person (which also fries a person's brain with more and more use) torture someone where they are driven insane and are a drooling mess (I believe that happened to neville's parents in the books) and a spell that just straight up kills someone instantly you would think that the teachers, students and your friends would be appalled by you using the curses.

Yeah her case was an accident though as she ended up grabbing cat hairs out of a brush rather than human ones. She didn't turn into a full on cat though, she still had a humanoid body

Man I don't know about controller being better. I mean, I'd prefer to play a game like this with controller, but the targeting made it unplayable, and switching/casting spells was slower. Literally had to switch to and relearn on m/kb just to beat dueling club.

I use only green items and dont ugprade them to keep some level of difficulty. I also keep the gear around 5 levels lower than my current one. If you are looking for any challenge I suggest you make your own rules.

The camera angle is a deal breaker. No way, no how, will I ever play a game where I can't see just as much left as I can right. It's not often you ever only go in a straight line, looking at walls filling half the screen isn't fun. So I'm glad I get to watch and hear asmon playing the game.

OK so let me get this straight. for those who havent played this game yet. There are NO ACTUAL BOOKS in The Hogwarts School. The game has NO text material for the lore fans, no dossier, No journal collection system, no textbooks to collect, buy in hogsmeade or find in a full fledged library in game and do a Little reading. Which is hilarious and not very immersive. Of all the tripple A RPG games, like Skyrim, Amalur, Shadow of War, Tomb RAider and even Fable has the player read on lore, short stories, dossiers on characters, or like in this game you could actually READ about a spell or famous wizards, bestiaries of monsters and plants, like at least an almanac or something, rather then tick off here, press X there and start spamming spells. The game demands no Planning, No knowledge on how to defeat enemies, iTs just spam spells? But OF ALL the games that needs an actual text collection system, youd think a freakin school themed game with Massive and actual interesting Lore based on actual books would have this. Bummer......--
