### Spaghetti Carbonara Recipe #### Ingredients: - 12 oz (340g) spaghetti - 4 oz (115g) pancetta or guanciale, diced (bacon can also be used) - 2 large eggs - 1 cup (100g) grated Pecorino Romano cheese (or Parmesan, if preferred) - 1 garlic clove, peeled and lightly crushed - Salt and black pepper, to taste - Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish) #### Instructions: 1. **Cook the Spaghetti:** - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. - Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. - Reserve 1 cup of pasta cooking water, then drain the spaghetti. 2. **Prepare the Sauce Base:** - While the pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat. - Add the pancetta or guanciale to the skillet and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. - Add the garlic clove to the skillet during the last minute of cooking to infuse the oil with garlic flavor, then remove and discard it. 3. **Mix the Eggs and Cheese:** - In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and grated Pecorino Romano cheese until well combined. 4. **Combine the Ingredients:** - Turn off the heat under the skillet with the pancetta. - Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine with the pancetta. - Pour the egg and cheese mixture over the hot pasta, stirring quickly to create a creamy sauce. The residual heat from the pasta will cook the eggs without scrambling them. - If the sauce is too thick, add some of the reserved pasta water, a little at a time, until you reach the desired consistency. 5. **Season and Serve:** - Season with salt and a generous amount of freshly ground black pepper. - Serve immediately, garnished with additional grated cheese and chopped parsley, if desired. Enjoy your classic Spaghetti Carbonara!

42:00 OSRS gamer for 20yrs, Rust since Legacy.. I'm impressed with your choices here, you may be surprised, but there ARE actually a LOOOOOT of OSRS players that love Rust. It definitely pulls the same types of players. I have found a lot of OSRS players on WoW, but I have never found many WoW players on OSRS(a few over the years, but not many). It seems to me that you are definitely on the right idea here. I do agree too. OSRS you can pick up and put down whenever you want. Rust, you can pick up and put down after a week of a wipe or even a few days if you've warmed up. They both can be intense or relaxing depending how you want to play. They both can be played solo or with a team. WoW, you pretty much need a team/large group and everyone on the same schedule to play end game content, which divides players. People want to work for their items, they don't want to rely on other people for their items. The greediness of some players, ruins the drive for others to want to help them, since those people may never get those types of items. Everyone needs a chance of the rare loot and everyone needs to be able to work towards obtaining it themselves. This works in OSRS and many other games. GW2 for example, the loot system was lovely. You could make legendries by collecting and saving up for items/parts/materials by working with teams or farming solo(original GW2, before expansion ruined the game). -Edit: I'm invested in AOC, and hope that they can manage to do things right and keep an audience. It's the ONLY thing that the MMO community has left before the scene completely dies out from large *new* games, IMO. I'm hoping that it can manage to be a massive success and do nothing but get better, rather than get worse and lose people. Which, seems to be how every game goes these days. They cash out and dgaf about your average player besides the whales/people that don't lose hope too early, but then just get dragged on with nothing positive happening.

The issue with the frequent releases of new games from a franchise isn't just the fact that the quality goes down but the fact that the market becomes saturated with inferior versions of the franchise. This is similar to a major factor that caused the crash in 83, an oversaturated market of very bad quality games.

The new PoE league mechanics is not that good IMO. It was fun while doing the campaign but once you get to map it forces you to run maps non-stop, because you need to encounter the different mining spots or trees and let's not forget about gold. They should had made it so the miners from the town get ore passively, like the farms, the only thing you get from maps is gold. Such a bad mechanic for casuals

Making smaller games will just speed up the death of Blizzard in my opinion. As a company, they still cling to this myth of Blizzard quality - and effectively a shovelware designed to milk the IPs will kill it - and Blizzard will join the fold of factory line devs. What they need is to focus on quality, actually making their stuff good. I mean, seriously - do we really expect people to be happy with people receiving a spinoff or a glorified minigame after waiting nearly 10 years for next Star Craft release or over 20 for next Warcraft? Do we really expect these people to be satisfied with table scraps? I would tell them to go to hell with this kind of bollocks.

Ron Millar, designer of The Lost Vikings and Starcraft, I can't seem to find further info about, since his wikipedia page redirects to a game page that doesn't talk about him at all. One thing worth mentioning about RIOT Forge. The games themselves were all at least on the level of good. They were made by established indie developers who were given the League IP. The problem is that the indie market is largely filled with mountains of different niche audiences outside the occasional breakout hit. Forge released a number of great indie games, but successful indie games are usually defined as making enough money to fund the next game. While the IP did give the games better marketing, it didn’t change the mainstream player perception of indie title. ie- anything that isn’t a 10/10 in at least one area won’t even be on the radar of 90% of gamers. Charging an IP premium against comparable titles is the final cherry on top to performing below expectations.

They could release several RTSs and RPGs back to back like that simply because they didn't have the competition. They also **stole** all of their features back then from other games which hasn't changed at all really over the decades... but what has changed is the number of completely fleshed-out features everyone expects which are mostly being fulfilled lately by indie devs who literally pour a whole decade into making just a handful of features nearly perfect.

You're absolutely right about the current Blizzard staff not having the right insight. There was a lot of talk about how WOW needs to make the game playable without addons. Where you could tell what you needed to react to without WeakAuras telling you or someone's special Plater profile letting you know what casts need to be interrupted etc. But, you can already see they have done none of that with the beta dungeon guides for War Within. I don't think this is just a Blizzard issue, though. The devs of Helldivers 2 are just as bad. They had a massive launch and massive falloff because the early and mid-game was awesome, but the late game sucks because the weapon power doesn't scale enough, but they just keep acting like the players are just being whiners.

Pretty sure the reason why riot forge got cancelled was because they didn't sell as many copies as they wanted to. The games are good and rich in lore for those who crave the lore of Runeterra. Besides from Ruined King and tales of nunu(idk the name) very few knew about the other games..it was a complete failure on Riots side and the games are not to blame
