Aw man! Apple cider donuts are so good!! Being from the South I never heard of them before. I first discovered them in NH a couple years ago when I started traveling. Now that I think about it Dunkin Donuts was one of the first chains I can remember that took a huge dive in quality. Years ago each place had its own bakers that had to come in at like 3am to start work. They over expanded and it has been baked from a central location and sent out to the stores. There is still a line at many of them over here in New England, but there is a reason they dropped the donuts from their name. People are there for the coffee, and other drinks the offer mostly now. The baked goods are not fresh and it's not worth the risk of getting a stale pastry for what they cost.

I so agree, unfortunately. :( and so many of the stores are becoming 24-hour where I am, which just makes you wonder when the items are ever supposed to be fresh. 🥲

to reduce the 'loud' noises to not disturb people falling asleep, you can try compressing the audio in your editing software. that'll make the really quiet sounds louder, and make the loud sounds quieter.
