Honestly it most likely was something the costumer asked. If we take a look at their other videos we can see they work with leather paint and restores the shoes exactly like the original. Guess people just like to hate

it look amazing ! I would have kept the brown part in their original leather, even quite ternished, because the brown paint looks a little bit too artificial. Other than that, I genuinely thought the sole was beige BUT NOOO it turned out white I'm speechless ! Great job as always

Guys, you can make the yellow part white by using that product that girls apply when dying to discolor the hair, do it in a sunny day and try to let the shoes direct to the sunlight, I did that also even with no too old shoes and they look new 😜.

конкретно в этом случае ничего хорошего бы ему не сказали - отдавали шикарные кожаные кеды, после реставрации получили дешевую поделку из кожзама. Цвет и покрытие просто ужасные.

You have very good skills. My personal preference would have been to just revived the natural brown parts that you kept or possibly used a much more matte finish so they didn’t look so painted (if that makes sense). Also for the sock liner, or whatever part you used fabric paint, you could have used an additive to paint to make it soft so you wouldn’t get that tacky feeing. Just think that would feel awkward on my sock when wearing. Other than that forget about haters not giving actual constructive criticism and a good lesson in learning that you can’t please everyone.
