When she said “thank you body for protecting me” it’s so powerful to hear that because your whole life you’re made to think you’re body is so much more than a shield for your heart and internal organs. It’s a reputation to build for other people, it’s judged and it’s ruled by size. It’s almost as if you waste so much time criticizing your body and even more time to realize your body is a safe haven and it’s completely a beautiful and fascinating creature of its own.

With me being on the spectrum, it’s hard for me to keep friends with my ADHD and my Asperger’s. When I’m around friends, I get to silly and sometimes say things that get to out of control witch makes people feel very uncomfortable. For that reason, I start to loose friends. And because of that, I go through a really dark and anxious time, worrying I’ll never make friends or if they will be rude to me. I always go and see a psychologist to help my anxiety. And you are just as good as she is. Hearing your quotes saying that “you are safe here” and “if you need me, I will always be here” makes me feel like I am comfortable. Thank you so much for helping me and understanding me!!

I cannot thank you enough for this, it actually made me cry but after I felt so much better ❤️ I’ve been having panic attacks for days and even after I got a normal EKG at the dr my brain was STILL trying to convince me that it MUST have missed something and I’m really having a heart attack. Before I found this video last night I was debating on going to the ER. You addressed all the worries that go through your mind when a panic attack strikes and sometimes you just need constant reassurance that you’re ok, even though it seems so silly to ppl who don’t experience it. Checking the heart rate a million times, then panicking even more because you can’t even complete the breathing exercises that are supposed to help... You even validated that although it’s a panic attack the physical symptoms are still very much real and not imagined. That’s so important, my husband tries to help me as best as he can but he doesn’t experience it so he’ll usually tell me “it’s all in your head” which of course makes me worry more because I know my physical symptoms are in fact very real, so maybe this one time he’s wrong and it really is a medical emergency? I’m going to show him this video to help him understand a bit more of what it’s actually like. Thank thank, thank you, thank you a million times, from the bottom of my heart ❤️❤️ I hope you have the best day ever because you certainly made mine a lot better

This is an old video, but I’m grateful for it. I have extreme arachnophobia and just had a panic attack because a spider, a tiny spider the size of a dot, touched me. I’ve had emetophobia since I was little and struggled with IBS too. Between these two things, it has caused me to have plenty of panic attacks over the years. Although I have a therapist now, I am not perfect and still experience anxiety and panic attacks now and again. Karuna and ASMR in general has greatly helped me during anxiety-ridden, sleepless nights. I don’t know how many videos I’ve watched over and over again. They’ve always helped me. Thank you, Karuna. ❤

I have a very bad paranoia issue, very little things can happen and I'll think I'm gonna die. I can't swallow, I can't think, I start to sweat, I can't breathe, I can't breathe. At this moment I feel helpless and I feel like I will die and lose everything. Sometimes at the moment I wish I would be dead but when she tells me she has the same feelings before. And that I'll be ok, it really does something dude. Truly a beautiful, special moment. It's just amazing how just a single person saying "you are ok I'm here." Can do for Someone mentally. I hope everyone here is having a good time. And I need you to know this feeling of emptiness and dread will pass eventually.

I absolutely loved it when you said "I don't know exactly what you're going through but I can relate." I always struggle with people telling me that they went through the exact same thing when they were my age and now they're fine, so then I should be fine too. I'm only recently learning that it's okay to not be okay, and that it isn't my fault that I feel this way. Thanks mom for helping me realize that
