Love your videos and love Soup all year round! Even in summer I enjoy a hot lobster/tomato bisques or Tom yum/Tom kha which I had last night and it was 80 degrees here in NYC. Your story was so nice and special. Things happen for a reason.. Although I hope your sons will be ring bearers because it's the girls that are the flower/petal tossers down the aisle.

Im in NY and luv soup year round too. The restaurant I just started at bartending serves soup year round. Which is awesome!

@@deecohen1383 Which restaurant? I know a lot that do serve soup all year as well, especially the steakhouses which are a given or french places. A lot switch to cold soups like gazpacho for the sunmer but i would rather drink salsa which is basically the same thing lol The best lobster bisque that is flour free because all steakhouses put a roux in it and it frustrates me since the cream is the thickener is Chazz Palminterri. There are a few French restaurants that have really good rouxless lobster bisque as well like Chez Josephine. Parker & Quinn and the Park Ave Tavern have a really good Tomato bisque all year round. Bryant park grill switches the soup every season and right now it's a mushroom soup. The one cold soup I actually really enjoyed was a cream fennel soup from Ragtrader bopeep but I don't think they do it anymore but could be mistaken.

PS Also you made a comment about the soup being thick, you may want to put more broth in it to thin it out so it's not a puree/sauce like consistency. I've had that at restaurants and I literally felt like I was eating a jarred sauce rather than a soup. Yes bisque is a little thicker due to the cream but not where it's like eating baby food lol
