In the Paulette case, it is highly possible that her parents are her murderers. It is theorized that they kidnapped her so they could earn money through the ransom, but that they accidentally killed her. They, then, hid her body and placed it under the mattress after some days. The thing that sickens me the most is that the mother seemed super calm in all of the interviews. She asked for an insane amount of things from the government, which had nothing to do with Paulette's disappearing. Although there are some holes here and there, I think that is what happened, even though nobody knows for certain

18:14 I did some research and I couldn't find any reliable evidence for this story (I'm always skeptical when I hear anything involving the USSR), but tbh this kinda sounds like the Russian Sleep Experiment. I'm not making any accusations, but I'd love to see actual sources from you. The only thing I could find of involving Soviet experiment from 1949 to 1951 was a series of nuclear tests (which some people would say is already disturbing enough on its own...)
