it’s crazy how africa is a place where so much evolution has happened yet it’s still one of the only places that hasn’t evolved in a sense of like a futuristic sense and stay in touch with the amazing ancient tribes and cultures it’s great i like africa it’s such a beautiful continent with so much to learn about!

africa is actually a continent, and plenty of the countries in it have modern cities. tribal societies also still exist all over the world! its really cool stuff to look into :]

About the Incan kids, you can see 3 of them mummyfied in an Argentinian museum, they were naturally preserved by the cold on top of the mountain they were left on. I actually saw one girl, she's in a sitting position hiding her face, it's really disturbing because it's feels like she could move.

This is fantastic, not only have I sorely been needing a simple whisper video, you tone is perfection, the slight mic brushing gives crazy tingles, but mostly, as disturbing as these are, I feel it’s important to remember these histories, particularly the persecutions and genocides. “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

creepy fact about Italy: you know that in Italy, specifically in Venice, there is an island that is not shown in some maps. His name is Poveglia and he has a terrifying past. In the age of the black plague (but also the bubonic plague and the Spanish flu) Poveglia was used as a cemetery and then became a quarantine camp for the sick, to then be turned into an asylum (italiano) sapete che in italia, specificamente a Venezia, ci sta un'isola che in alcune mappe non viene mostrata.

4:57 I’ve been to see them myself! The skeletons were removed a few years ago for preservation reasons. I remember seeing them when I was like 9 or 10 and I’m 15 now. My grandparents live only a minutes walk away from it so I go to see them all the time. I was shocked to see a fact abt my country in a KZbin video 😭😭. Also the castle they were found in was a monks temple As well and they used to all live there a long time ago. Also love ur vids 🫶

No hate at at all just a lil info dump^^ The yellow stone “super” volcano fact technically isn’t correct super volcano isn’t even a scientific term it just caught on after like 1 documentary sourced from a book that used it ( specifically as a non scientific term! ) And actually shows signs of dying down and even if it did erupt most of the ash fall probably wouldn’t even make it out of the park (ovi wind and wether are a thing tho) don’t quote me on this I watched a video about this 2 days ago

All Homosapien skulls are from Africa, but not all species of humans (hominids). The "Out of Africa" theory is very questionable as well, especially with how most researchers believe that most other species of hominid bred with homosapiens, making it so that we aren't just one species.

17:55 this happened sometime in the 19th century. At the Tolomato cemetery in St Augustine Florida, it was Bishop Verot’s funeral and he had been placed in a coffin made of Iron with a glass top. And it just happened to be a very hot day for Florida. So the heat and the gasses being emitted from the bishops body begun to react and during the ceremony, his coffin exploded, causing shards of glass, iron, and human remains to fly everywhere even ending up in some peoples mouths. Pretty gross, I first heard this story when I was 10😭
