ASMR Drawing a Lion with Charcoal - No Talking

What's funny to me is when people look at things like this, an artist just slinging a piece of charcoal or a pencil across the paper. How an image is just shows up quickly and with ease, they are lost, confused or just feeling hopeless about doing this themselves. As an experienced artist I see his movements and can even see how I can mimic and recreate. This one is more skilled than me so it would only be so good. The thing is, with all things time and effort will supply you with what you need. If you want to get good at something, then do it. Keep doing it and eventually you get good. And love the process.

You videos play during treatments and at night normally end up asleep in a “Z” like position and need to have crunch time. Basically you’re awesome and a blessing to our world thank you for the art therapy you are gifting us all!! Long time fan first time writing!

This is crazy awesome to me. I have to sketch mine out first and sketch so many details before I’m confident enough to shade. Especially with charcoal. And I’m not sure if you use references but I ALWAYS have to have one I’m a reference artist saddly. 😭 I hate being copycat off a reference, but I love art ❤️

I'm 58. When I was a boy I would draw all the time. As I got older I became frustrated because is couldn't draw well. I haven't drawn in probably 40 years. Desire was eclipsed by lack of talent I guess.

With infinite KZbin tutorials and many great teachers, you can learn almost any technique! Even videos on how to actually clear your mind and let go and move forward with the drawing/painting process. You can do it- it’s never too late to bless yourself with your creative growth!

This is amazing on an asmr and artist front, this is like visual asmr for me on an extreme front, over analyzing your techniques and the way I do things is so much fun, and the way you do it is so fun for me to watch, it's calming, and the sounds are amazing, some of the sounds are pretty rough on me. But that just comes with asmr I guess!

This reminds me of airbrush techniques how you can just start out thinking it's not gonna be good until you keep going with it. I took airbrushing at a trade school for autobody thinking I wasn't gonna be able to do what they were doing but I was wrong cuz you don't need talent to do it just practice. Funny thing about it is my mom said I was talented when I showed her a metal piece I did and she said that she can't do that and I thought I couldn't either until I practiced enough of the technique and boom instant art. I told her you don't need talent just practice and you'll be an artist in no time
