He's in a very contemplative mediative state, so it's very easy to be as still as he is here and the other asmr videos. It takes years of mediative training to do. I do contemplative mediation myself and the peace and serenity from it, can trigger the asmr tingles

Not sure meditation really does much for you mentally--scientifically, anyways (other than the normal chemicals being relaxed produces in your brain.) Essentially, when you are relaxing, your brain produces chemicals that essentially just makes you high but not really. Im not a professional, just learned it during classes.
