ASMR| First Time Seeing the Gynecologist-Getting Your First Pap! (Breast and Pelvic Exam)

Hello! Even though I have done a few first time pap videos-I feel like a lot of you really enjoy seeing these done repeatedly.. It does make sense considering all uterus/cervix owners are getting multiple Pap smears throughout their life! I absolutely love doing annual exam videos-and I hope you enjoy watching them ! As always, there are steps in this video that are exaggerated or added for ASMR purposes only-not because it is an exact representation of what is done in the office. With that being said-NOT A TUTORIAL.

@@lenamoorsy not at all! From my experience the doctors that have done mine are always gentle and nice, they put lube on the speculum so it goes in easy not painful. Then it just feels kind of odd and maybe uncomfortable but no pain. Ive had probably around 5-10 pap smears and the longest one was 2 minutes max! Shortest ones not even 15 seconds and its done!

Hello everyone ! I know I do a few of these every now and then- but a lot of you love the Pap smear/annual videos! Probably because any cervix owner will experience this multiple times in their life 💜 I love using “Lee” as the medical assistant - gives more of a sister and upbeat approach versus always being so *provider like*. @@leannathepa Yay! I'm so excited at the idea of these story role plays! I have an idea from my own experience; how about getting an IUD put in for menstrual reasons while a virgin? I had a Mirena IUD put in for extremely bad period cramps and the insertion process was a major concern of mine. I was under anesthesia for the insertion, but I know there are others who are awake for it. Maybe you can look into doing that for a future video? Just an idea!

Great question ! So I’m an actual PA that specializes in OBGYN. I record these videos at my workplace, before patients arrive or during lunch break when no patients are in the office. The equipment I use is my personal equipment - so nothing is taken from the office itself. 😊 and for those who wonder - yes my coworkers know I do videos. I make them all go quiet 😂😂💙

Unfortunately I have a skenes glad cyst that keeps coming back after having my second daughter, so having a speculum in there is most the time a no go, I’m pregnant with my third and last baby now, and when I go I’ll have to tell them that I have a skenes gland cyst (this will be a nurse at first) and it is extremely painful when pushed on and I’d rather not unless it’s absolutely necessary. A place I went to for them to look at thecyst made me feel uncomfortable because I said I was in pain and they didn’t stop they just said I know and hurried😅

Ok I have a question here, sorry, if its dumb. She always says its the smalles speculum... but, excuse me, if THATS the smallest... I don't wanna know the bigger ones. This one would be considered a big one where I come from, I guess. My gynecologist uses these plastoc speculums and they come in teeny tiny and thsnk godzilla my gynecologist uses only the smallest for me. I'd die with this big metal thing. Don't you have these even smaller plastic-speculums aswell? Or is this size like the norm where you come from?

it mostly is for pregnancy and what sti’s could be transmitted because specific sexual contact between different or same sexes have different risks. ie peen havers tend to have a higher chance of transmitting hiv than people without them

@@blurfan As a woman going to a doctor specializing in women's health (who should expect to see women, since women are the only people they treat), yes, I would be very confused. It's already uncomfortable to go to an OB/GYN, so them asking about my gender would feel offensive and would not create trust (which, I would argue, is necessary in that very vulnerable setting).

I'm sorry you would feel uncomfortable, but they mean no harm. I think she asks because there are biological women who don't identify as so. Also there are trangender man who even though they take hormones they decide not to have surgery so even though they are trans-men they still have a feminine reproductive system and need to be checked by a OBGYN. But if it makes you feel unsafe or bad, it's ok. Let them know 💕
