@@bricegrimes5053 it's like coffee, at first it keeps you awake for days, then hours, then suddenly you can go to sleep just fine even with 2 cups of coffee. But if you stop drinking for some days (even weeks), when you drink it again it last longer (well not to the point if days long unless you stopped for some months then suddenly crashed it into your system) It's also like listening to loud music, at first it may annoy to get past 50% but then you find yourself listening and want to higher the volume but it's already at 100% and it doesn't sound the same (if that make sense) So stop listening to music at a loud volem or at all for days The thing is our ears are sensitive but when you hit it hard (with sound waves) it build "immunity" to it. So give your ears rest until they get back to "normal" Remember when your ears were sensitive and you get tingles from the slightest touches then you no longer felt tingles so you start listening to more aggressive ASMR but no it doesn't even give you tingles ㅠ_ㅠ What I'm tryna say is stop watching ASMR for a while then go back again.

Im not sure if getting tingles is the same for everyone, but heres some tips that help me; Try not to move around, the less you move the more liekly you are to get tingles Control ya breathing hav the volume somewhat high, i find when I listen to ASMR on low volume I can’t get tingles And most importantly, get comfortable :> Hope this helps

I really love to watch asmr, actually I never got tingles, I can get them only when someone plays with my hairs. But still asmr helps me to fall asleep and relax ❤ And trust me, just few hours of normal sleep or relax is something almost imposible for me as for a person with ocd, so thank you Jojo for your hard work to make me and many more people feel more comfy, safe or relaxed, even if it's just for a short while.

I think tingles are just something you grow out of. I used to get them with certain triggers before ASMR was a thing; therefore I would say not immune but just latent indefinitely.
