i'm a goth and i use dry shampoo to texturize and fluff up my hair to make it bigger!! you can use that, texturizing powder, sea salt spray, mousse, and probably more things i don't know about!! hairspray kinda locks in the shape but it can also make it go flat in my opinion (as someone with straight hair)
