It’s hard to find an ASMR video where the person actually knows how to use tunings forks. Most hold them way too high and dampen the sound. The droning is what i find so relaxing. This video is great!

@@-homerow- to believe I'm back on this video two years later because I've explored the depths of asmr. And no one does forks like this one right here. This. Is worth its length in gold.

I know tuning forks are on the top of everyone's request list so I will make more on the future. For now, the Remastered version of this video is available on bandcamp. I was able to clean up the audio greatly. And from now on, my asmr recording technique has improved to the point where I don't need to do much audio manipulation if any, so more quality videos will arise as they do.

I like what you're doing here, let me suggest something I don't see other ASMR artist doing but I think you might be interested. You need a cymbal, like a crash cymbal. Larger the better, but you can start with a decent 10", but make it a B20 bronze cymbal, not B8 or introductory. Borrow from a friend if you can. Cymbals are notoriously loud but if you close mic them, and barely rap on them with the pads of your fingers, it creates a beautiful full sound that generates tons of ASMR responses. It's not easy to capture the sound, but I can do it with a zoom4, 1" or 2" away from the cymbal
@fairweatherfriends.2 жыл бұрын
MAYBE. But in what setting would you use that? Cause you literally couldn’t with forks unless you did it as a way to cleanse the aerial pallet . Still I think even that should probably be done with a different type of fork. The only way to do what you’re talking about with forks … it would have to be perfect tone , pitch,and size etc. so unless this fella is rich ( cause cymbals are not cheap at all) I just don’t know man.

Hi, one of the best tuning fork asmr videos I have come across. Thank you :) I felt instead of keeping the tuning fork pictures, you should have used some other image/video...It would have been more impressive. Tuning fork details you could have been shown as a title/subtitle...

Thank you for the great feedback! I am happy you enjoy the video. At the time I recorded this I was making ASMR and Tuning Fork videos with the intention that people would have the chance to break entirely from screen time. It affects sleep for sure and also leaves you closer to the anxieties you may be trying to ease. I will consider more visual ASMR as I plan future videos!

You DESPERATELY need a high quality mic. Yours is picking up so much white noise it sounds like it's raining in the background. I gave a thumbs up anyway because tuning fork videos are rare even for ASMR (for some reason) but your mic REALLY needs upgrading.
