You should NEVER stick qtips in your ears.

​@@angelbefaded why?👀 aren't they made for that? Qtip, in South Africa we call them earbuds. I personally hesitate using one as I feel like it doesn't clean my ears but rather pushed my wax further down but there are times where I'd feel forced to use it if I can find a miniature scoop around the house to use for my ears, also I have no one to help me so earbuds tend to be somewhat safer (not hygienic but safer) for me.

Ever since I came this side, I prefer it this way. I enjoy the process and the fact that wax is actually scrapped of compared to being pushed down like @nandi_m04 mentions.. and besides, I have super itchy ears because of sinus and just generally ENT itchiness so it’s a bonus for me!

I feel the same way too about the pushing the wax down hey. I never feel like they are cleaned properly but the whole cleaning ear thing is controversial etc but honestly I like the Chinese method

@@nandi_m04yp You shouldn’t use quips in your ears because they can push wax further in (as you said) and you can also puncture your eardrum with them.
