i had a really bad evening due to an argument with my toxic mother, which made me have a panic attack. therefore, i’m going to end this night on a good note, knowing that i’m safe. update: i have now cut contact with my toxic mother for over a year now. i have been so much better, but i’m still learning self-compassion. happy that this video is still here.

Hey, sweet souls... wanted to remind you that you can love even if you're still in the middle (or beggining) of your healing journey. We are capable and deserving of inmense amounts of love even if we're still learning and understanding how to love ourselves. We are loving, caring and compasionate creatures even if we haven't completed our self-love path. 💖

This has been an incredible lesson for me of late. It feels like self-growth is this process of peeling back so many layers and just when you think you've really come to know yourself, something arises that's feels and is so deeply impactful. I've had to learn the lesson of self compassion again and again and again.

Something that really helped me was just realizing that we will always continue to change and evolve. So many ppl define themselves by ideas, values, or materialistic things but just remember, thats not you!! You are change, and that's a good thing❤️‼️ Keep evolving and moving forward!!

I picked up a book that belonged to my mother and was flooded by a wave of guilt / shame remembering all the problems I be had and all the ways I’ve failed. I started to sob in my bed and heard ediya saying that even though you’ve made mistakes, you can still love yourself. It felt so good to hear those words.

Wow I’ve never cried during the meditation before but for some reason I decided to go under the covers give myself a hug and say but I wish I could’ve said to every version of myself up until now; an innocent happy child to innocent hurt teenager , to now, i’m only 19 but a lot has happened and if I could go back and give myself a hug I think a lot could’ve felt much better,But I realised that I can because I’m still all of those people just with different experiences and I know future me would’ve wished that they could’ve hug me tight so I’m hugging myself for me in the future, thank you. ❤

"you are deserving of your own love even if you've made mistakes" this one really touched my heart. this summer i cheated on my boyfriend, it was a mistake. i told him right away, so now we're kind of off on a break. and even if i try to escape this guilt, i can't prevent myself from thinking i don't deserve my own love anymore, because by betraying my boyfriend i also betrayed myself. thank you Ediya.

Can't agree more! So true! Even the animals have so much sincerity, sense of gratitude and loyalty! 🙂❤ We have a lot to learn from our pets. What good are we contributing to sb's life instead of messing around with their struggle of survival, their journey of life, their already put together life? We have gotta ask ourselves these questions even a pet tries to perk up the people it's adopt by but us? We are messing around like the biggest mfs to people's organized life???? How could we expect to be treated fair when we ourselves do not know it yet as to what fairness originally means???? All we can do is to sneak into other people's business without any active contributions from us. So this is what we have become. We are so dishonest that when we see others speaking out the truth, it haunts to our very core. Cos we are liars and we try to smother every voice that has the guts to open up and being honest on top of our wobbly foundation set up on lies, forgeries and slapstick comedies. Nobody's perfect but they don't even try to close to be perfect. That's the irony actually. Nor can they digest others being happy with someone else other than themselves after long period of trauma. So less animal-ly let alone humanly. 😁 Animals do not think of sui stuff but we put our own human race in such situations so that sui thing becomes a part of our daily bulletins. We are all humans but in literal sense there are very few of us that actually could be denoted by that term human. Most are still stuck in chimpanzee, gorilla, dog or cat, hippo phases will take a lifetime to be called a human in true sense of the term.

I know this is an older video, but I just had to drop a note and say thank you for your kindness and compassion, and for making these kinds of resources to help people heal and relax. You have such a kind and gentle, nurturing soul, and I can't help but sense that you are a deeply spiritual person. I would love to find out sometime exactly what your metaphysical beliefs actually are. I use ASMR videos like this as a part of my meditation practice in order to go within and heal, receive insight, and access higher states of consciousness.
