As always , great content. I got promoted to Supervisor back in Nov, 2022. Got new attire and start wearing AE Hamiltons. One day I decided to pull my Fisrt Ave. in walnut and that w as when compliment did not stop. Pleople think that my AE and Florsheim in tobacco brown are $800 to a $1,000. Never oversee the opportunity to make an statement, something I learned long time ago. You can tell the character of a man by looking at his shoes.

These have got to the most absolutely beautiful shoes I’ve ever seen. Especially after you got finished with them!!! I have no doubt they are out of my price range tho! I just recently started a new job and it’s the first one I’ve ever had that is a desk job so it’s no longer appropriate for me to wear jeans and T-shirts lol so I’ve had to completely redo my entire wardrobe and purchase chinos and button up shirts.. the mistake I made was thinking the shirts where the most important item and the shoes where just an afterthought lol so now I don’t have a lot left to spend on shoes so I’ve been trying to get lucky like you and find something nice at the thrift shops and of course I’ve not found anything I would even let my son wear as play shoes lol... but I will just keep looking and hopefully I’ll get some overtime soon and be able to purchase a couple nice pair!!! I apologize for such a long life story type comment lol! I truly enjoy your videos!

Would you be kind enough todo tell us the number of the saphire you used in this video? Thank you for inspiring us to go beyond.

I have the Strands in Bourbon. Is there a Saphir color your would recommend for Boubon?
@TheElegantOxford5 жыл бұрын
Bourbon is a tricky color since it’s walnut with a darker black finish on top. I’d say use neutral to not affect the color.

How do they make the leather's color fade like that in the toe tips?

The burnishing effect is achieved using dye. I have a tutorial on how to do it if you check my other videos.

I saved a lot of time before purchase my first pair of high end shoes , I bought a pair of prada shoes, and since I worked hard for them , I love them and take care of them the same way I take care of my pets
@@TheElegantOxford AEs and other premium brands are VERY affordable on ebay and amazon. Of course they need a freshening up, and you're an expert at that.

Do you use different brushes for different colored shoes?
@davidlindsey4365 жыл бұрын
Me, too...fire station...plus mainline Norfolk Southern RR track going northwest from Louisville, KY... very interesting sounds and sights, but not quite as pleasing as sounds of a brush on fine leather, and sight of mirror developing.

There’s very little difference as they are clean from the start

Correct, this is a mirror shine maintenance video. I got many request for a how to on maintaining a mirror shine after multiple wears. The shoes were first mirror shined at another time. The caps had tiny micro-scratches and small cracks that were rebuffed in this shine.
