✍Just wondered if you've seen this yet? I'm doing some ASMR research to explore how & why it helps us because I believe it could be used alongside existing therapies. But to prove this I need lots of help, from everyone who finds ASMR helpful. This is my survey, it take 7-8 mins to complete: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/TheASMRPsychologist-1 I am a fully qualified Dr of Psychology just trying to do something good for the ASMR community but I can't do this on my own. I promise to try & respond to all comments & questions, thank you in anticipation, for your time & support Wishing you all strength & calm during this difficult period. Warmest wishes Dr Emma Gray The ASMR Psychologist

A great idea. It's a worldwide phenomena that does need properly documenting. I've used asmr almost every night for 5 years for mental health issues and physical pain. I find it a salve that needs constant topping up; it's a trickle rather than being a wellspring or a lasting gush; a titillation rather than a proper seduction if you will. No guided meditation has ever worked for me, nor any remote reiki, but the intent is as meaningful to me as the outcome, and I just feel nice being in that kind of company. Binaural tones and singing bowls hit me the best, only it isn't strictly asmr from those I experience. I'd love to hear more about your findings when you complete the thesis.

Most importantly: I discovered your channel a short while ago and have been watching a video every single night. I love how you start off every video nearly exactly the same way. It’s so relaxing - drawing us back to the same thing every time is such a clever way to get us to trust you! I’m so happy I found your channel and so grateful to you for providing such amazing content. A little bit of a random question... I’ve been holding off asking you, but life is short and curly girls have to stick together... what products do you use on your hair?

I stumbled across your channel yesterday night as I was doing my nightly search for the perfect asmr to end my day. I can honestly say I’ve never experienced quite as much of a physical and relaxing reaction to anything in the asmr community like I did to your videos, the best part I log back In tonight and find that you’ve uploaded a video that I needed more than anything. I experience a lot of chronic pain and with the COVID shutdowns I haven’t had my usual outlets available I don’t know that this will solve anything but it gives me a place to start when there is no other place to turn, thank you for making amazing content

I'm awake with severe pain from ME, Fibromylgia and numerous other ailments. I've been ill for as long as I recall. I'm only in my 30`s...but this was a wonderful video. So relaxing. I love meditation and Asmr and your visulation was so powerful. It truly did help ease some pain enough for me to try and sleep. Furthermore your compassion is beautiful. So often chronic illnesses sufferers get no understanding but I felt the empathy. Thank you 💓

Thank you so much for your videos! I struggle to fall asleep and listening to one of your videos does help a lot! I also suffer from chronic pain due to TMJ degeneration. One of the causes for my problem is grinding my teeth while sleeping. Unfortunately, there not much that can be done to stop this behaviour that affect so many people. One possible thing that may help break this is hypnosis. So I was wondering if you would consider doing a sleep hypnosis video addressing teeth grinding/clenching, please? I’m sure a lot of people like myself would appreciate it! Thank you so much!

Thank you for doing this session! Chronic pain people like me desperately need inclusive content like this. I did find personally that the metronome, though visually soothing, was too loud in comparison to your voice in both pain videos, so I had to stop. I didn't have a migraine when I watched, but I do have a common neurological disorder that dials my nervous system up to a very sensitive degree. That said, I greatly appreciate your channel! I've listened to one of your hypnosis videos every night for the past 2 weeks, as well as watching your anxiety management course. I'm already feeling much more mentally grounded and cannot thank you enough 💛

Can you make a hypnobirthing video I love your technique and your voice. I wish you could guide me into being relax and focus during my labour by using affirmations and progressive muscle relaxation.
