I admire you for diving into a topic you admittedly don’t know a ton about. Respect.

I absolutely love cars, they are probably my #1 interest in the world, and there are so many in this video that I’ve never heard of, like the Thomas Edison car, that is one I will certainly need to learn more about. This is not what I expected from your channel, but I love it and very much appreciate it. I’m definitely going to ramble on a lot here and I sincerely apologise, it’s just my passion. 8:37 Back in the late 1800s and early 1900s, cars were often considered a danger to pedestrians, so perhaps that is why they were painted bright colours, just a theory. In various places, laws were enforced that sound ridiculous today, such as having someone walk in front of the car waving a red flag to warn people that a car is coming. Some people also like to paint old cars in bright colours just because it’s cool I guess. 17:26 I imagine that air-cooled is referring to the engine being air-cooled, as opposed to water-cooled. 32:14 I believe that car with butterfly (or gull wing) doors is a Mercede-Benz 300SL, the fastest production car of its time, with a top speed of over 150mph in 1955. 38:04 I think that car was made for drag racing judging by its long narrow nose and large rear wheels, that’s quite common for drag cars. 38:25 A funny car is basically a drag car that is made to look like a normal road car. Why they are called funny I do not know. Maybe because they go a lot faster than they look. 42:46 HERBIE!!! 43:54 I’ve seen a DeLorean before, in its original silver colour. It was at the Birdwood Museum near Adelaide, South Australia. That museum also had an old Holden carved out of a large rock, very cool, and a lot of hard work. Alright, that’s the end of my ramble, sorry for going on for so long, great video, thoroughly enjoyed every second of it!

I nearly went into one near me, but didn't want to pay the $10 entry fee. Even the small museums are getting expensive....
