Wow, what a beautiful location for camping, landscape I will never see in my life but nice to see you and the family out there. Great job with the beef I thought, never seen that method, what is the science behind the salt? Do you think you could have used that dirt there in the desert to insullate as well? I know in NZ where I come from the Maori used to cook food underground using hot rocks and cover it with dirt (called a Hungi) and here in Scotland where I now live the hunter gathers did a similar thing. I'm hoping to try the straw box method one day too, just out of curiosity. Interesting experiment and great breakfast too! Cheers.

What an incredibly beautiful place! I'd be hard pressed to leave before climbing up and exploring some of those little mesas. I'll rate this video in the Firebox top 5.
