@Wilson Wilson appreciate the feedback! You are right, I did place it in the wrong place. Got too excited installing new parts. I am still learning this stuff along the way

What did you use to get the grips on that easily?

@Bill Wayne I used a sewing machine oil. It works like magic

And you still think it's a good idea? Have you ridden this bike yet? I guess if you lubed the grips, it can be hard to stop them from turning on the handlebars. On the other hand, you should have used some lube before installing pedals - it helps a lot, if you ever needed to replace them.

use shampoo, it wont slip or turn

Another trick is to spray a bit of clear spray inside the grip and slid it on when wet, once it dries the grip will lock it. You can also try using rubbing isopropyl alcohol .

@@vuurmambakiibongo5473 they are actually stuck on there pretty good. They wouldn’t even budge. The bike has been ridden a few times then the bottom bracket gave out. I just replaced it and posted a new vid.

makes no sense for me - a singlespeed where you can't properly tension your chain

Oversprayed rims, wrong chain alignment, brake levers upside down, rear brake cable routing way too tight, grips mounted with oil, slack in the chain, front cable hanger still mounted - that's a lot mistakes for one video.
