About 2 weeks ago I left my family and that house to go live with a friend because of the emotional abuse there. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do and with Christmas coming up, it's even harder. This helped a bit though, and I hope things turn out like this for me too.

I don't have a family at this point, i live with them and play nice but the reality of the situation is i want out; i want to leave and never come back, change my name and NEVER been or heard from again. It's much less painful than telling them why i feel the way i do, and less dangerous; when it feels like you can't vent because you're afraid of getting shot, or stabbed or beaten it drives you mad, i feel like I'm backed into a wall and I'm scared of what I might do as well as what THEY might do to me. The truth about broken families is they never recover, especially when one member is an active threat to the rest. But the worst monster of them all, is the one in your head; the one constantly lying to you and telling you to end it, that's the most dangerous one. TL;DR: Don't trust anyone not even family to your best interests at heart, you'll get hurt if you do.

Who need a boyfriend when you have a cardlin?❤
@aryniris7 жыл бұрын
Alexzandrama I feel that way sometimes, but there's strength in building on yourself when you're alone. Sure, I hope I won't _always_ be alone, and some days are worse than others when dealing with the actual loneliness, but...at the same time I know if I can't be strong on my own - if I can't love myself on my own - how can I expect anyone to love me when I'm not anymore, much less a boyfriend? I guess the crux of what I'm trying to say is this: *It is 100% okay to feel lonely and wish for it to disappear to point that your heart aches. But don't let it cripple you.* You are stronger than you know, with or without that hypothetical special someone in your life. Build on yourself and you'll be even happier when he finally comes around. ♥️ ♥ ♥

I wasn’t abused or neglected but I definitely wasn’t part of a normal family. I’m autistic and I was diagnosed at 12. Before that my mother depended on me to help her with my younger siblings because I never said no in fear of disappointing her and my father has remained the same in his inability and want to talk to me but he was better than my mother. She criticised my clothes, my friends, my interests, my weight, my eating habits, etc. I have had actual panic attacks over clothes because of my fear of her. And I remember talking to one of my friends who told her parents everything she said they were her best friends and I didn’t understand that because every conversation I had about my day or something consisted of me censoring anything bad or anything she wouldn’t approve of. I don’t have friends I can call family because I’m more of an extra than a real character in people’s lives and I always feel lonely around them. My siblings insulted me sometimes or just ignored me except for the 2 youngest. And I have planned out my life hoping to move out as soon as I can because I just don’t belong here. I guess I really am a fool mother, you were right. I really needed that vent.

Your audios are like a blessing to me specially the ones for the family issues because my mom doesn't understand why I am so stressed about school and life and why I have such high expectations for myself or why I have such a hard time asking for help from my family (my family has no clue I go to my friends for help instead of the people who share my blood) I have 2 older sisters who are smart, aren't afraid to ask for help, and know what they want to do with their lives! Me on the other hand I am told I am smart (though i do not believe that), I find it very hard to open up and ask for help, and I have no clue what i want to do with my life! So yes! With sisters like that I feel a lot of pressure (most put on me by myself)

As someone who's autistic, this sounds really like what's going on with me, also family-wise as the icing on the cake. If things get out of hand while in public, I go outside and/or someplace quiet, and often have a hard time speaking while also processing the looming sensory overload in my head. Every time I listen to one of these videos, I always picture him reading sign language, and that's why he sometimes repeats what the viewer "said". Sometimes I go mute and have to resort to sign language because talking is too much, but listening to a calm voice I trust is something I can handle, sometimes enough to calm me down. Long time listener, first time commenting!
