@XtremiTeez bestie I've had sessions of this stuff before and the most beneficial part of it was the touch therapy soothing my anxiety. It has pretty much zero place in this world as long as it is being called medicine. These southerners really be getting more posh with it.
@redeyeskuriboh2839 Жыл бұрын
@@skylerpolendina7517 Disagree. Medicine can be defined as "healing substances" or "the science and practice of caring for a patient". Medicinal can be defined as "having healing properties". Relaxation and calmness are all important mental factors which help to regulate the bodies stress factors. Less stress directly equates to less likeliness of developing illnesses. Therefor it could be said that a practice which helps keep your mental state in a positive area is in a way "medicinal". These treatments are no different than a spa session. Many humans are simply lacking in affirmation and physical touch. Both hugely empowering elements that can put someone in a positive mindset. Thus increasing their levels of serotonin and therefor their ability to cognitively function and be productive. If you attend one of these sessions and leave feeling calm and relaxed, then it helped you. Albeit we could agree that scientifically it isn't doing *exactly* what they say it's doing. It definitely has a place. It's here to stay. If treatments like this help a patient to feel more at peace with themselves or calm them down, then the treatment is medicinal. If you don't like it, don't go.
