動画内でexcuse meをすいませんと紹介してますが正しくはすみませんでした!申し訳ない😅😅 In the video I explained that excuse me means すいません in Japanese but in fact すみません is the correct translation. Sorry for the inconvenience!!

The shiteimasu part converts the verb to an action. So benkyou = “to learn” , adding shiteimasu to the end makes it “learning”.
@j.banana35363 жыл бұрын
"shiteimasu" means present progressive. benkyo siteimasu= to learn for what? ↓ ex i'll go to Japan to learn Japanese culture meaning: watashi ha nihon no culture wo benkyou surutameni ikimasu. so " to learn" means the purpose of what u gonna do.

Thanks for another of these. Nice to listen to at work. For the しています, in English this would be verb conjugation. Specifically for Japanese, it's the formal present progressive conjugation. Present progressive being that you are currently in the midst of doing something, e.g. "I'm learnING Japanese" vs "I learn Japanese," the latter of which is just present indicative (you indicate that you do something in general but are not doing it right at this moment).
@warngamba5 жыл бұрын
Chrysus Rides I’m fluent in both but it still confused me when I read that lmao
@jundun5 жыл бұрын
@@warngamba You mean my message is confusing? Yeah, idk, verb conjugations in general are confusing lol. They're usually the make or break factor for me when learning a language.
