My zafira vxr also went to R&D he made 289bhp and 330.7 lb-ft i also fitted a gizzmo ms-IBC V4 scamble boost controller did a custom motronic mapping plus turbosmart actuator that day all done by dan the legend, I really like your videos keep up the good work and keep doing those videos 10 out of 10 for information.

Do I understand it right, that you don’t can change the filter inside itself, without destroying it? You have to buy a complete pump with pump housing for the VXR?

Yep that's correct.

@@boosthit811 that’s why you have delete it with the external filter at the engine bay room. I found a complete pump bin from Bosch with the pump inside (new) for about 85€ (75pound sterling). There you have a new filter and bin. Then mount the upgrade petrol pump inside and you have a (in my mind) better solution, what do you think?

@@Rehbraun that will work, but the Bosch inline filter kit is designed for higher power fuel systems than factory. Depending what your goals are.

Hi mate how would you rate these kits ? Mainly how noisy is the pump over standard ? And do you have to keep a 1/4 tank minimum like the walbro pumps or are the asnu pumps safe on a low tank? Cheers mate

Hay man. I haven't noticed any extra noise over standard pump to be fair. And I've had no issues with running tank low on fuel touch wood.

@@boosthit811 Thanks for the speedy reply bro its appreciated Just trying to work out the best options for replacing mine Recently blew my engine Got a replacement engine fit which was a nightmare in itself Had it mapped 12 months ago by rnd Had it on a local dyno today for health check it's running dangerously lean between 5k and 7k Below 5k it's perfect, the dyno place is saying fuel pump but I'm leaning more towards a clogged oem fuel filter They only guessed at fuel pump and couldn't give a definite answer? Got any thoughts bro?

@@andrewb5263 yeah, running lean up top is probably a bit of both. Old pump and old filter. Also could pay to check pump power and grounds are healthy.👍

Do you know which wire is the positive to the fuel pump from the loom (what colour )

Not off the top of my head. A test light or multi meter will help you figure that out

Do I need to cut the old filter out of it then mate never done it before got a vxr coming and need to do the pump

If its just the pump then unclip the old one and drop the new one in. It's alot more hassle removing the fuel basket/filter etc.
