My husband and I are both completely blind and autistic. I LOVE making music, and listening to music. My husband loves listening to his music loudly. I can sometimes hear his headphones from the other room lol. I love the sound of musical instruments. Especially piano, guitar, wind chimes, singing bowls, kalimba, tongue drum or handpan, and anything else that has a relaxing sound. I also enjoy a lot of percussion instruments. I can even listen to music, especially relaxing music throughout the day without losing focus.

You were right about the lights. I put some grow lights I had extra in my room. I've slept, for real the last couple days. It's noticable about the lights.

Isn’t it awesome, finding our proper sensory supports! 😎

I do enjoy Me some music, tbh the loudness varies, but at the same time I am mainly deaf to other people voices, not other noise associated with people or movement of aforementioned but just the voice.

Every sensory system I have is hypersensitive with the exception of my nociception, interoception, and gustation. I had 20/10 vision, was called golden ears at work because I heard everything from great distances, can still smell everything down to identifying the brand or at least identity of the odorant. It has gotten me in some trouble with friends who like to eat smelly foods 😂
