Asphalt 9 used to fuck up the whole industry of mobile racing and optimization due to the great lighting and shader changes depending on the scene, but the price of this was that the cars and the environment did not contact the lighting with other objects. Baked lighting, cubic reflection maps and baked reaction to light and shadows did their job, but now at the engine level I see much more interactive light, say adding these minor details gives A9U to keep up technologically with competitors such as NFS mobile or CarX Street.

It's not just a color filter, while it's still had that pinkish Japan skies it's basically the sunset that brings that warm yellow color reflection on the ground and buildings which makes it even more realistic than the old one, other than that there is also improved directional shadows and lighting in Unite.

The environmental shadows and ambient and directional lighting are are much better and realistic, the new graphics might not look good to some people but to me it's more realistic and better, while its still had that cool tone pinkish skies that you would normally see in Japan - the sun setting which in real life is normally warm orange or yellowish in color is what brings those warm tone reflections that you see on the ground and buildings which to me is more realistic than the old one.

Runs perfectly fine on my Mi13t, but battery drain is now an issue, the whole point of mobile game is that you can game it on your mobile device for a long period, now my battery heats up and drains very fast. If you observe carefully in rl, shadows are not that sharp unless the object is very close to the surface where the shadow is produced. The current shadow graphics are up to some extent at par with real life. Hope GL will pay attention to the details.

This is bad, a long wait in vain. I prefer the OG version. When I first saw Asphalt 9, it was amazing, a significant improvement from Asphalt 8. I could compare it to the graphics of the PS3 era/early PS4 era. I hoped for Asphalt 10, I wanted to feel even more amazed. But this is what we got. It's been a very long time, and it seems like they aren't working on Asphalt 10.

genuinely, i would like to hear what you would like for a next asphalt game. pretty much everything has been achieved and invented. this is a major rework that covers most of the game. from a8 to a9 there was such a huge improvement in graphics that it's tough for them to get better anymore. every possible idea has been already made. that's why is hard to innovate in today's gaming age, that's why the gaming community find most games boring and not so interesting.
