I use tape instead wood tables so it saves me a little bit of time , for the hand gun I use a tip extension so I won’t have to kill my back But it’s amazing job keep it up ...

Matthew, this is just a crew I use and I agree, they do a very fast job... I would have preferred another coat... but, the owner was satisfied.
@omarramirez23354 жыл бұрын
So first of all if they’re striping 24” wide “Ped Xing” the easiest way without the tape and all that is to simply make a 12” or 24” (whatever preffered rectangle stencil from angled steel or out of wood put ropes at the end to pull it up and to move to next stripe Set it down spray one coat move over if using 12” stencil and spray the other 12” spray one coat go on all the way to the end come back second coat and glass bead if it calls for it wood boards setting down all day bending over is super time consuming not efficient Better quality work and easier to line up repeat and at end of day you simply scrape the paint off and done 4” hash marks or 6” stripe stencils out of wood or steel also work wayyy better

Good , quick job . A lot of "Monday Morning QB's" on here saying , "I woulda , U coulda , U shoulda" ... If 10 guys who do this were standing around watching Ur crew work , there is ONE THING they would all agree on and that is what these men are doing wrong .

What was that cord/ rope that was painted over? It looked like it was partially buried by the asphalt for some reason.
@EngineerPEretired8 жыл бұрын
It was the road / traffic signal detector (so an approaching vehicle will trigger the gate to open)...

Just look up "asphalt stripping machine" and you should find it pop up, in the brands that are sold in your country. You may refer to it as ''paving stripping machine" or " stripping pavement machine".

They did not clean the parking lot before they painted. And that is not good. That is lazy. Most of it was ok but I did see some really dirty area's.

I do not recall if they blew it off first; the importance of the strips were a NEXT DAY inspection and this was done on a Sunday! ... The strips had to roughed in for inspection and this was all getting removed with a new asphalt driveway in about 4 weeks.
