Alleen op papier, realistisch gezien is hij al undisputed. Tom aspinall heeft tegen de complete ufc heavyweight divisie gevochten en hij heeft ze allemaal af gemaakt. Pavlovich is een top 5 er, KO. Blaydes is een top 3er, KO. Volkov is een top 5 er, SUB. tybura is een top 10er, KO. Spivac is een top 10 er, KO. Gane aspinall is wat de ufc wou hebben voor ufc Manchester (304) gane heeft het afgewezen (is weg gerend) De man heeft iedereen afgemaakt die de ufc tegenover hem heeft gezet. Zet het af tegen Jones die 1 HW partij heeft en amper vecht. Voor mij is hij al de echte kampioen.

Je wil mij casual noemen, welke kenner beseft niet dat wat aspinall in ufc doet 10 x gekker is? Niveau verschil vriend, ufc ligt mijlen ver voor op pfl en bellator qua kwaliteit vechters in de top. Aspinall 0 partijen verloren in de ufc, iedereen af gemaakt via sub of ko. Ngannou heeft in 2 jaar 1 mma partij gedraaid tegen Renan. It's growing slowly, but there's just no wrestling/BJJ culture over here. There are popping up full MMA gyms here and there, but the main martial art of the country still is kickboxing by a mile.

MMA is coming, but for a long long time fighting sports in general had a real bad image in the major cities so it was hard to organize anything big. For the future of Dutch MMA I am exited for the Sterkenburg twins Tyrone and Marcel. Two young youth champions in Roman wrestling who want to do MMA and we hadn't had wrestling champs since the 80's. So keep an eye out for those names. In a view years they should represent the Netherlands well in MMA.
