@Boy lol no offence to Volkov but who is he? He isn't a champion, hasn't even faced a champion. Jon Jones is unbeaten and was the champion back in 2011 has never lost. Do you not see an issue with comparing his fights against Reyes and Santos when he clearly lost his motivation, which is why he left the division and ignore his dominance in over 15 fights. Tom Aspinal has already lost twice and he has just started. Regarding Conor, I agree he would lose to Usman, but your reasoning is ignorant. The reason Conor's striking looks bad isn't because he is a bad striker today. It's because he is facing much larger fighters, in comparison to the past where he use his reach and length to destroy people. He has also faced many wrestlers and people good on the ground. Yes, he would get destroyed by Usman, not because his striking is bad, but because he has to deal with the threat of a takedown making his striking worse because he can't over-extend or he will be taken to the ground. Usman has a great legacy right now and has proved he is one of the best, unlike Aspinal who has beaten no champions. Conor also has never defended a title. Defending a championship is far more challenging than winning it. Regarding styles, talk to me about what Aspinal can actually do to Jones. He can't outwrestle Jon jones, he isn't faster than Jon Jones, and he doesn't kick too much or use his elbows and knees much. Being a good strong boxer is useless when you get your legs kicked, and that's Jones's specialty. I haven't talked about his wrestling, which is elite.

@Boy You do realize a decade is 10 years and Jon Jones has beaten great fighters far more recent, Alexander Gustafsson, Daniel Cormier, etc. He was the champ 11 years ago, but he beat so many people during that time. Volkov lost to Lewis, who was destroyed by Cormier. Lewis was probably the easiest fight Cormier ever had. He was destroyed twice by Jones and I fucking love Cormier lol. I'm sure even Cormier could easily beat Aspinal lol. He isn't anything impressive. And Yes, Motivation does matter if you think about his circumstance, when Jon Jones was unbeaten for over 13 years and been the champion for so long, destroying everyone he faced. He beat his biggest rival twice (Cormier) and had no hate or need to prove himself. They didn't even hurt him, he would have lost by points. You are basing your entire argument on two fights when he had far more impressive fights far more recently lol, Tom is faster than Jones? You seriously need to watch more fights. Your argument about the Conor thing is useless because Conor 10 years ago would still lose to Usman of today. If you knew anything about MMA, you would easily identify this.
