Finally kisi ne assam ke khaane ko importance diya. Kitne saalon se yehi chiz dekhne ke liye ruke hue the. Thank you chef. Bas bolna chahunga ki Fish ko agar half fry karke daale to jyada taste milta hai. Usually hum yeh karte hai, aur red chilli powder to bilkul bhi nehi jaati. Jitna simple tareeke se ise pakayenge utni hi uska taste hai. Humari har dish ke pakane ka tareeka bilkul hi simple si hoti hai par taste me utni hi mazedaar hai 🤗🤗

Assam is progressing. Love to see you cooking our Masor Tenga ❤️ Awesome 😊 You know chef, Authentically When we cook at home, we just add only 1 tbs of oil to the gravy, only Methi seed or mustard seed, No red chilli powder, No dry red chilli, only one kind of sour( tomatoes only or Outenga only or lime or lemon only, Thekera only ) and if the fish is from fresh water, we don’t even fry it. Potatoes also we don’t fry.

You made an effort very hard from the core of your heart. But brother, tenga is much simpler and cooked in very very less oil. Season with only mustard seed or methi seed. Need not fry the tomatoes in oil so much nor use red chilly powder. After lightly frying the tomatoes pour water and let it boil till the skin comes out from the tomatoes. Boil till the the water reduces and thickens down . Add the fishes and boil together for a while. Now add slit green chillies according to your consuming capacity. Keep ready plenty of cut coriander leaf and add into the tenga . Usually the aroma of these simple ingredients are very healthy and tasty. The great masor tenga is cooked thus. Less oil and plenty boil. Sorry for correcting.

Ranveer ji … thanks for sharing this receipe from Assam… I am an Assamese and as per my mother/ grandmother .. MachorTenga the phoran that my Mom n all used to use was Methi Dana then tomato, haldi, salt, sugar, juice of kagji nimbu n garnish with Dhania patta.Tenga is the Assamese word for Sour so no way in this dish chilly either green, red or red powder is used. And masala that is used is only Haldi nothing else. So you should say this dish is your modification not the traditional Machor Tenga
