I love how in the three encounters with Duccio it shows Ezio's maturity and growth. In AC2 he was angry and wanted to take revenge inmediatly after hearing what he did to Claudia. Then, in Brotherhood, he doesn't want to deal with Duccio's BS initially but he still beats him up to teach him a lesson and finally, in revelations, he just presents himself politely knowing that Duccio won't even try to fight him.

Fun fact: Duccio is the only character apart from Ezio himself to actually be present in each game of the trilogy. Claudia, Maria and Mario, Rodrigo, Machiavelli and La Volpe, and Christina, hell, even Leonardo Da Vinci, all of them are only seen in 2 and Brotherhood. Revelations has an almost 100% new cast. Except Ezio, and Duccio. This guy exists in all 3 games with the sole purpose of having the shit beaten out of him by Ezio. Ezio writes to his family, but that is all we really get of them. Duccio though? The gods have put him in 3 of the 4 major cities Ezio's most important moments occoured in just so Ezio can squeeze a cathartic curb stomp into his adventures. Also, the fact that you can kill him repeatedly throughout the series is quite hilarious to me. Imagine what must have been running through Ezios head when after dumping this dude unconsious into a river in Rome and possibly watching for several minutes to ensure he was dead, he just shows up a few years later in another city creeping on his current ladyfriend. He must be thinking to himself "Shit, I beat this annoying little shit down, even drowned him, and still I get to beat him senseless years later?"
